Hilariously, Classic Chris thinking he could easily become gay due to certain images (ie, penises and shirtless men) could also be seen as the gayest shit ever, considering that's a common theme among raging homophobes that are deep in the closet.

 

Thing is I don't think he actually has any real attraction to men, I think he drank the "Jesus says don't be gay!" Kool-Aid a little too hard and thought homosexuality was something you could contract. I know he said he's married to Magi-Chan, but that's more Idea Guys than any geniune romantic or sexual interest on his part.

When it comes to Chris and betting between him hiding something or just being fucking stupid, I always bet the latter.

 

If Virginia is part of the Bible Belt, I can imagine the Kool-Aid going in a little more hard. That and I can imagine that whatever Chrs was taught growing up by Borb and TV, Chris would likely take it to heart even if it was outdated, pure propaganda, or a joke that flew well over the head.

 

Virginia is basically as far North as you can get while still being in the Bibble belt.

I used to be in a religious youth program that made wild claims about why gayness happened, often claiming people just get "Confused" especially "When they're young", since Chris thought he was literally a teenager well into his late 20's early 30's, he probably heard something similar and needed Sailor Moon to remind him "What team he plays for"

 

He also thought that one "forgetting" their gender at birth (can't imagine what become of that!) made them gay, so he was ultra defensive about his masculinity too. It does explain some of his power videos from all those years ago, in my opinion.

 

When the lolcow went and "gone tomgirl", that's when the Tale of Fail "jumped the shark", so to speak. That happening was the unambiguous dividing line between the "Classic" and current days.

 

That sort of thing is just the kind of laugh one could get in visualizing classic Chris and tomgirl/CPU Goddess Chris ever clashing.

If he even recognized himself, he'd probably insist he was facing off with Reldnahc

 

To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised at Chris then and Chris now having some kind of fight.

 

In my experience, the more someone reminds you of you, the more you wanna punch him in the fucking face.

See it wouldn't because Future Chris wouldn't meet Past Chris' beauty standards and since Future Chris thinks he looks like a damn Victoria's Secret model, he'd take that as an insult, or worse, evidence that Past Chris is a troll and not the real Past Chris.

 

Classic Chris would probably be terrified of CPU Chris. He had a fear of "hermaphrodites", during the Classic Era, similar to his fear of the homos.

 

Like Bob allegedly did when the lolcow started crossdressing, the "classic" lolcow may throw a certain 3-letter F-word at the current lolcow. And the current would not like being called male.

Huh, I was both in and adjacent to pretty similar Tumblr-esque circles during the prime of my 3 years on KF in 2014 and 2015 when I was my most active there, and I never saw anyone use it as anything other than a weird ironic Chris quote that made very little sense, and the phrase was just an inside joke to us.

That phrase and the original incarnation of that meme must have died out quickly then. That sort of culture was at it's height then in my teens by the mid 2010s, and the forums back in 2015 only got influenced by it even more when we started getting insiders from Tumblr contributing to major threads in that subforum. Those people would often explain weird hipster shit from Tumblr culture that didn't make any sense to a lot of us.

 

Early 2010's meme culture likely had some things die of quick due to getting drowned out or were niche in certain circles and I wouldn't be surprised if something like "haters to the left" ended up being obscure to anything except some specific Tumblr circles.
