Strange, I always pictured Onision's self-insert from all three of his shitty novels to be the Porky Minch of self-published garbage "heroes".

 

Back in the day, women could tell off a guy they don't want to be with by going "I have a boyfriend", even if they didn't.

Had the "Love Quest" started now, I think "Chris Chan" would find himself getting recorded a lot more than in the '00s ...

 

Chris effectively was mythical specifically because he could only truly be spoken of in hushed whispers.
Now that everything is hyper connected and recorded, chris-chans are a dime a dozen. Quite honestly, the entire idea of a lolcow is just outmoded these days. It's like a court jester, there's just no need anymore, the culture is entirely different. If I want to look at someone pathetic I'll go to r/kitchencels or watch a Turkey Tom video. They're everywhere now. Chris is far from special anymore, his only intrigue is being a relic from a bygone era. A war story 30 year olds tell to each other.

 

It really shows the lolcow's lack of theory of mind when thinking that birthday should be a holiday.
