Guys it's okay you can all buy Sonichu medallions now that they're no longer cursed and won't bring horrible misfortune on to you anymore.

 

I've wanted to buy a Sonichu Medallion from Chris, but I legitimately don't trust him to get off his ass and ship anything ordered.

Indeed I have, I remember when he first started selling stuff. I wanted to commission a Simonla Medallion from him at first, but then I learned he wasn't actually shipping shit or doing any real work on what people paid him for. And that Chris was blaming people for expecting their products at all.

Which is low even for Chris. How he can see himself as a goody goody two shoes figure, yet have no concept of responsibility is completely beyond me. I do love Chris, but damn there's really nothing you can trust him with.

I remember back in the day discussing "What job could Chris actually do?" with a couple of friends, and the answer we came up with was "Nothing"

There's no job Chris could do, because there's no job he would do.

Even if you made him a janitor somewhere, he'd simply just ignore what he was assigned to do and just stay in the janitor's closet playing Sonic Colors on his Switch.

 

Don't forget he fucking doxxed his own customers for even the most minor complaints. That was my main point lmao.

Chris sees people as NPCs, he always has, only now he's finally honest about it. If one acts out of line than it has to be made an example of. The only problem is he has literally no theory of mind and can't even comprehend that just because he draws a revenge comic, beats up an avatar of them in a video game, uses a voodoo effigy of them, invokes curses on them, or even makes a YouTube video on it, that nobody will care even if they see it; it will have no effect on them. And, well, as I've discussed about how Chris isn't so much delusional, because he can process reality, as much as he is simply so lazy and cowardly that he simply refuses to acknowledge reality, so he simply assumes that his revenge fantasies work in some abstract manner that the universe will figure out for him (so in an abstract sense, he's telling on you).
Of course, because he's just lazy and not delusional, even he can't fight off his own base instincts and does realize that genuinely doing anything threatening will result in actual consequences, which he is very familiar with given his track record with loitering/trespassing and dealing with the cops. Glitter bombing that hobby shop was probably him testing how far he could push things without getting into anything potentially illegal.

You can already look back at his short stint at Wendy's to see how effective he would be as a janitor; he would do a single task and then just sit around and never bother to check if anything else needed to be done.

But yeah Chris is well and truly your average insane homeless man, sans the drug abuse (unless you count his maladaptive daydreaming). Doesn't really matter what he could potentially do, because he isn't willing to do anything at all, and there's honestly nothing anyone could ever do to change that. The Sonichu medallions worked because he was getting attention, it was something (from his point of view) that only he could do, because it was his creation, and everyone wanted it. Of course, a lifetime of consuming garbage entertainment has fried his brain to the point that even that became unfulfilling and he just gave up and, like back at Wendy's, just sort of sat around and hoped nobody would notice he's idle.

 

Or tl;dr: "Chris Chan" is a solipsistic freak who is "on the honor roll"?

Or, actually, more aptly, like him saying he "only" got kicked out of the game place for going into the back area without permission, when it's been firmly established they were looking for any reason to get rid of him. Nah, he straight-up didn't work. He would do one thing, whatever his manager told him, then once he finished it, he would just lounge around in the lobby. Like, yeah he probably did make customers feel uncomfortable too (as he usually does when loitering anywhere) but yeah he pretty much actively avoided working.

Actually, brushing up on the wiki real quick, it seems he didn't lean into that event being the sole reason he got fired and actually did understand it was simply because nobody liked him (of course, he had no idea why) and that the Donald Duck impression was just something trolls clung on to because it was funny. It probably was the last straw, but, yeah we can only imagine how many straws it took to break that camel.

 

It does make sense that he'd get in trouble for that, he probably didn't understand he was meant to find something else to do after he finished a task or even report back to the manager. I'm always asking my supervisor to explain exactly what she means and what her expectations are because of my own autism. It's likely Chris understood "Do exactly the thing I have told you to do and then you're done"

I tried checking the Cwcki on his GamePLACE ban, but it honestly seems like they didn't know the reason themselves and were just grasping at straws. Apparently it might have had something to do with racism?

 

I doubt he still believes that, but he was under a lot of stress at the time (actual stress, not laziness), it's around the same time he blamed a "greedy firefighter" for stealing some clown painting or something from their house after it burned, so he was probably just really feeling confrontational and insecure with all the changes going on in his life.

It was two separate events. First, he got temporarily kicked out for going into the back without permission (which I doubt they actually cared about that and just wanted to get rid of him), and again after getting in a shouting match with a black kid. He was allowed back after like two weeks or something after the first occurrence, but after the shouting match, they permanently booted him. But they were looking for any reason to get rid of him, because he would hog their TV and act aggressive with customers, especially young children when they beat him at card games. He was generally a menace and, yeah, they were looking for any reason to kick him out.

They probably knew he was too retarded to reason with, so it's not like they could say "you have to share the TV", or even something as abstract and nebulous as "don't scream at children", but were probably looking for reasonable and clear "infractions" even he could understand were bad behavior so they wouldn't have to deal with him throwing some kind of fit over it. And you can probably understand why they did that, given how absolutely outrageous his following trespass attempts afterwards were. They probably assumed he would snap like that, so looking for an "excuse" was less about covering their own ass and just trying to make sure he didn't become violent. The staff there were probably pretty used to rowdy and angsty teens (at least from my experience at my own local hobby places) and had some understanding of how to let people down easily if they were misbehaving. I can only imagine all the hints they tried to drop on Chris to get him to act nicer to his fellow patrons to avoid exactly all the dumb shit Chris pulled after they had to ban him twice.

It's funny when you hear about just how angry Chris makes everyone around him, but it does have the depressing backdrop of wondering exactly how much shit they were willing to put up with to avoid any kind of confrontation, which Chris was demonstrably willing and ready to reciprocate should they actually attempt to ban him. People like Chris (I guess the modern term would be a "male karen") are exactly why you see people act so softly around deranged strangers - it's not because they like them or even believe they can be truly reasoned with, they're just trying to put out a lit fuse.

 

IIRC, he was fired from Wendy's for drawing a coworker as a deliberately ugly Pokemon. I think that was the proverbial last straw, as he was in general not very good at holding down that job.

At first he claimed it was the Donald Duck impression that scared a little kid into crying, but he then later admitted the real reason. I think it was to a troll posing as an interested lady.
