Phil seeks financial solidarity

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Phil in some special low-income housing, something that he should be able to pay with his SSDI and a little money management?
Also this partner he has should have an income too, do they not?

 

I would guess so since his total monthly expenses on living are $170 - $180. He should be able to come up with the money rather easily, but given his spending habit all that money has gone to booze, tattoos, knives, tranny pills, and other useless crap. Honestly he could have the money already but be trying to milk more out of people since he thinks he should be given free board anyway.

 

I didn't even notice he's asking for April's rent.
Speaking from experience as someone who's lived in low-income neighborhoods who's had neighbors who collect, landlords usually know when the checks arrive and give a due date based off that (where I live checks come the first Thursday of the month so my landlord made rent due on the 10th, this way people got their checks right before rent was due.) Phil is asking for money, before he's even gotten the money he knows he can use.
Assuming his living expense costs 700 all said and done (rent and bills, assuming the 110 being asked isn't the whole rent, 700 was about what I paid living alone in the hood) and Phil gets let's say 1,150 in SSDI (the national average is 1,116, the pacific coast is probably higher) that leaves him with 450 a month for food and luxuries. That's about 112 dollars a week. My boyfriend and I spend about 60-70 on food a week. This leaves Phil a remainder of 42-52 dollars a week for luxuries and/or medical hiccups*, since he doesn't need gas for a car. That's not a fabulous life, but it meets all Phil's essential needs and gives him a few bucks to spend or save.
This is all based on Phil's income alone.
I'm also assuming his partner has some income/collection as well, even if they don't, Phil should be able to feed and house the both of them and have a little for fun stuff. It's shitty, tight and paycheck to paycheck, but welcome to adulthood.

*I didn't want to derail too much on the medical hiccups in my post, but one of Phil's money problems is he goes to the ER for ear infections when he could have gone to a urgent care clinic. Phil's on Medicare, so the co-pay should be 20 and antibiotics are 10-20. An ER trip can easily cost 300, ten times as much as if he'd gone to the clinic.

 

Solidarity, noun. Unity or agreement of feeling or action, especially among individuals with a common interest; mutual support within a group.
Going by the first definition, he wants to meet other broke people. Going by the second definition, mutual support likely won't happen; he'll take the money and run, then claim he needs it more than the other person.

 

Phil needs money to start a socialist revolution to take down that evil capitalist Trump.

 

ADF likes to distort words all the time. "Gaslighting" means "telling the truth that makes one look bad" (similar to "Hurtful Truth Level" with CWC) -- according to ADF.

 

Solidarity means getting money without working for it? I think he's been getting "solidarity" from the government for a couple of years.
Really he should have solidarity with prisoners or mental health patients because he's going to hurt himself or someone else if he's on his own for much longer.

 

Thought I'd post the link from his YouCaring.com profile. He wants to milk a total of over eight grand from people and already raised $1700. This on top of of what he gets from the government and he can sponge off local charities. While I think @Pibot is right about him having to pay more than $180 in living expenses, I'm almost as sure that; between splitting the rent cost, charities, and here to unknown financial sponsors; he only has to pay $180 dollars or he would be begging for more. As far as Phil is concerned the money given to him by taxpayers is his to waste and he shouldn't have to use it on droll things like food and housing.

 

I'm surprised ADF hasn't applied for food stamps.

It would be the first time it would be (kind of) used. Right now it's a piece of furniture in "the Spudcave." It's covered in lights and stickers. Like how the bike lock is a "pet," the bike is a "daughter."

 

ADF being a sex worker would be like that of Chris being Carlos Chantor: they'd get no money nor any sex.

 

I don't know what's sadder - ADF prostituting himself because he fails at personal finance, or the guy who hires ADF as a hooker.
