Yeah, nobody told me about the spooder.

Anyways, I might see if the library has any physical copies of the second through fifth book of Gor available since I am not looking forward to skipping to book 6 when the series supposedly goes downhill from what I was told, but then again, those are the ones that nobody bothers reading because they give up.

If you guys want, I could also do a reading of his sex manual known as Imaginative Sex sometime, some stuff includes using a frozen hot dog as a dildo and it is also the book where he believes all men fantasize about raping women.

    Chapter 7

So the chick in the robes demands to be released and Cabot is like "Yeah whatever, bitch, you can go ahead" and then she gets all pissy for some reason like it isn't the answer she expected. So the spooder and Cabot continue their journey, but the robed chick continues to beg him not to leave her in the swamp and they are like "whatevs" and then one of her shoes sink into the swamp and it is revealed that she is wearing 10 inch platform shoes, so basically stripper shoes because she wants to look down on everyone. Wait a minute, wasn't she running in them when she was chasing him when they were in Ar? Seriously, she was literally sprinting a few chapters ago? There was no way she could do that unless Cabot was insanely slow and out of shape.

She then begs him to take her and he is like "Why should I take you, bitch?" and then she gets on her knees in the position that slaves make and apparently, if a woman submits to a man as a slave, either he take her or kill her and Cabot is such a "nice guy" that he accepts. Oh yeah, he mentions Sana in this paragraph she does this saying it reminds him of the position Sana was in, but he still doesn't mention where Sana is right now!

So then they head out of the swamp and say good by to the spooder dude and then suddenly the chick gets stuck in quicksand and he has to save her which he does. They are hungry and they go to get some fruit and she insists she follow behind him because she is his slave now. I am guessing most of these women are either super meek or feisty women that are easily tamed with no dimension whatsoever. It looks like this chick is the latter and needs to be tamed because she was tricking him and tries to stab him and he grabs her by the hair and calls her a wench and slut and it appears like he is attempting to rape her. I think this is the breaking point where Cabot realizes that Nice Guys finish last in this world.

He rips off her clothes and laughs maniacally while doing so while this woman is all like "How dare you mess with the daughter of the Ubar!" and then he stops saying he is not really going to rape her and is all like "It's just a prank bro, I just want to check if there is any weapons, I am not really going to rape you!" Of course, she does that, but her screaming alerts some people from Ar searching for the Home Stone of their presence and they order him to freeze and he captures him

Oh yeah, we also find out her name is Talena and she is also captured and probably going to be made into a slave.

We are almost halfway done with this book!

    Chapter 8

So the Ar soldiers that captured them then proceed to take off the rest of her clothes and Cabot just stares talking about how sexy she is naked. He then asks what is going on in Ar and apparently Ar is in chaos and everyone was so angry against the Ubar of the city that they want him to be executed that he fled. His name is Marlenus by the way. The soldiers say that Cabot will be executed too for obvious reasons, especially since he doesn't have the Home Stone to give back since the birb ran off with it.

Of course, while his wrists were shackled in front of him, he knocked one of the soldiers out cold and with some maneuvers, killed them. This is why you are supposed to restrain them from the back! They then free themselves and take whatever the soldiers had on them and proceed. Talena puts clothes back on, but the only clean, not-ripped clothes are her underwear and again, Cabot swoons over how sexy she is.

Talena then talks about her father and how she never sees him because he is so busy and she was basically raised by servants and that it is pretty normal for girls of high ranking fathers. He introduces himself more formally to her and she then talks about how she knows about his father and how some people from Ar tried to assassinate him and he was like "oh yeah!" Which, well, that would be kind of important to mention in the training montage you know? He gives us this new information about how someone tried to kill him, but the screaming guy killed them first which, WOULD BE REALLY NICE IF YOU MENTIONED THIS PREVIOUSLY SINCE IT IS PRETTY GODDAMN IMPORTANT!

He then proceeds and Talena begs him to come even though he is like "Bitch, you caused me so much trouble." but she is like "This submission is for reals!" and then he is like "Okay, whatevs, but you will be treated like a slave this time and wear these shackles and leash and stuff and then they proceed forward.

    End of Chapter 8

Do you think I should have a counter for every time the main character lusts after a woman? I think that would be pretty good because it happens a lot.

    Chapter 9

Note: I will start a bit of a drinking game. Whenever Cabot lusts after a woman, especially when he tries to act like a gentleman, take a drink.

So they continue to travel. Apparently the word for stranger is the same word for enemy in Gor. I don't know about you guys, but I really, really like linguistics. I don't expect authors to be Tolkien level amount of detail, but I still like some basic understanding. So far we have that, it has a different alphabet, plus the main Gorean language doesn't sound animalistic like those other minority languages. I think another thing that was mention is that it was derived from a mixture of different languages from worlds that the original Goreans. It makes it sound like the original Goreans purposefully created some sort of Esperanto kind of deal by combining a bunch of Earth languages or something the way he worded it. Anyways, I digress...

They are now heading to Ko-ro-ba since it is the only place that would allow them to stay after what he did (I can't remember which city this is, is it the one where his father is at? Are you sure there is no other cities that would be safe? Especially since those spooder people said they hate Ar.) since every other city would not welcome them. Cue a bath scene where the girl is like "Are you going to look at me?" and he is like "no" but then he looks anyways admiring her supple skin (DRINK!)

Of course then there is fanservice of her being tied up while they sleep (seriously, will I have to do another drinking game for this too?). They then come across a diseased man with a disease called Dar-Kosis disease, but they don't tell us at all what it is. How do they know this guy is affected by it? What does this disease do? Is it deadly? Seriously, this would be nice to know. That is the thing about Norman, either he explains stuff way too much in minute detail or he doesn't explain it at all, typically important stuff.

Anyways, he meets some dude named Kazrak and tells him that there is a war brewing and a bunch of cities want to invade Ar. They chat for a while and Talena butts into the conversation and he says to beat her for that, but he doesn't so now this Kazrak guy wants her and is threatening him if he doesn't beat her for not being quiet. They then fight and Cabot stabs him in the shoulder and refuses to kill him off then suddenly his buddies come and and surround them.

    End of Chapter
