Yeah, but the Covid lockdowns were never supposed to be a permanent state of affairs. Even that wouldn't compare to the sheer existential shock of living next to cartoon characters one day, and then having them deleted and going back to normal. We were all relieved when lockdown ended. If the Dimensional Merge was undone we'd all be salty as shit.

Meanwhile, I'm just waiting for my chance to head to Gotham to become the stupidest Batman villain since the Penny Plunderer.

 

I mean, there are those "real-life superhero" LARPers like Phoenix Jones. Penny Plunderer's on to something - if you only steal extremely cheap stuff or otherwise just do petty crimes, you could potentially annoy the superhero's for years if not decades as their arch nemesis.

 

Plot twist: the soul is just an immaterial byproduct of the material body, and dies when you die.

If I were doing this, I would come up with increasingly convoluted schemes with the sole purpose of trying to get Batman to kill someone.

 

It really seems like the best way to do this is to create a Saw trap where it's impossible to save one group of people without sacrificing someone in the group.

If you really wanna be an Edgelord on Bruce's shit list make him sacrifice someone's parents in front of them.

Course Batman is so flanderized into a cold unfeeling God who can do anything with "prep time" he'd probably just disable the trap completely using a technique taught to him by ancient Egyptian Tibetian Monks

 

Batman is easy to defeat, you just can't play games with him. It's the games that cause the villains to lose.
In Riddler: One Bad Day, the Riddler quite simply decides to do whatever he wanted without making any hints or clues whatsoever. It got so bad Batman had to break his code of ethics and literally kill him, because nothing could stop him. Video about it if you're curious.

 

See, I prefer my supervillain gimmick to be so stupid and outlandish that it's technically not considered a crime because nobody was mad enough to actually do it, and to also have it so connected to my magical realm fantasies that it causes Batman's brain to short circuit, leaving him with only one comment: "WHAT?"

 

Apperently some weird Christians on social media are claiming that Jesus will return on the 23rd, (which is tomorrow) since all of those other predictions have worked out so well.
