I was referring to how people use to pick on "Chris Chan" by claiming Sonic is dead, which would he didn't like.

 

Sonic died from drowning in pennies after getting drunk off of REEB and tobaccy before trying to have gay sex with Tails in Scrooge McDuck's money bin. Sonic is also addicted to drugs and hookers.

 

I am unaware of any period in Christory where people tried to say Sonic died

 

It was back in his high school years. Kids would mess with him by saying that Sonic is dead and he would throw a tardfit over it. It's also when kids would throw pennies at him just to watch him pick them all up like a dope.
It's why people find it so strange that Chris idealizes high school so much. Those were the best days of his life.

 

It was a time when he could still potentially grow up to be one of his heroes

 

I distinctly remember that this is where the community meme of saying "Sonic is dead" and throwing pennies on the floor on the 2013-2014 era CWCki Forums and 2015 Kiwi Farms came from. A common variation was to say something else was dead when it was context appropriate and follow it up with LARPing throwing pennies on the floor, or posting images of pennies.

 

I thought that was just in Canada

 

This will be solved by recycling the pennies we throw at Chris. How, you ask? Every month we'll offer Chris a new PS3 for all the pennies he's collected. And when he opens the box, it'll be empty. And we can repeat this indefinitely.
