Chris is Sorry For Being a Jerk

I'm pretty sure I got into him in the early days - I do remember actually browsing the original CWCki Forums (although I didn't sign up). I think I was just too busy being a proper autist and spending all my time in Minecraft.

On that note, I also remember playing Forumwarz. I really miss those days, that was a fun game. Too bad the community is gone.

 

I joined CF over 10 years ago, before it was rebranded as KF.

CF was sorta like this site, but with focus on other lolcows.

 

Same though this was when Cwcki Forums wasn't refounded by Null. That and the one ran by Null would eventually branch to other lolcows.

 

I've noticed there's 2 forms of "apologies" that lolcow does: that kind where he makes it clear what he wants in exchange, and the "generic platitude" kind where he doesn't admit to any one wrongdoing. It's latter here.

CF also had a "Like" system like this site has, although it was called something like "thanks" as well (IIRC).

Those were the days. I remember reading the CWCkipedia at work on my down time.

 

I feel like "Christory"/his infamy died after he raped Barb. Like Spazkid said after killing off TAS, even back then Chris was becoming less funny and just flat-out sad. After Barb, even I lost interest. Some people like watching a trainwreck, but nobody wants to see the bodies after the smoke clears, and we're well past that point.

 

Indeed. We are simply the ones who need to know how it all ends. Even after the police done cleaned up the crime scene and shooed everypony home.

 

tbh I feel like we're more akin to old people in a retirement home talking about how we used to play hoop-stick.

That lolcow "going tomgirl" was to "Christory" what that 2009 Star Trek movie was to Star Trek. Also the "Idea Guys" and him raping Barb is like what Star Trek: Discovery and later series was to ST. The Star Trek examples even have some continuity breaking -- just like what happened to the fictional crap which that lolcow made up.

 

I take it you're not familiar with ST then.

tl;dr: "Christory" "jumped the shark" during the "Tomgirl Saga", and then went off a cliff with the "Idea Guys" and the raping.

 

I feel like it should have ended either after Bluespike or the house fire.

On the contrary I think we should extend Christory indefinitely by keeping him chained to a radiator in a basement while we record ourselves throwing pennies at him yelling "julaaay"

 

We must keep Chris alive long enough to upload his brain.

I mean that's my plan. It is why I gave up smoking.

 

I won't rest until we replicate the ending of the Black Mirror episode White Christmas with Chris' simulated consciousness.
