YT 5/5 - shirt buyer cancelled, finances

Well, I know there were those 6 or so original drawings he bought. I also know there were some commissions, I think there were around 4 commissions and one (or two) were Argonianlord OCs meant to make the trolls believe that the guy was responsible for the commissions and troll him for it. I don't know if he got physical copies of those commissions.

What I meant was him becoming obsessed with Steven Universe. I mean, he was a fan of MLP before, but right now many of his posts have some relation to MLP, and he even routinely wears MLP clothing during his videos. At one point he went through a phase where Sonic was just as prevalent. I'm wondering if he'll ever go through a Steven Universe phase, and we'll start seeing Captain's Logs where he wears a Pearl shirt.

 

Chris bought another new video game.

It was released two weeks ago and costs $20.

During the past week, Chris bought five new PS4 games, spending $60. He has also been saying his bank account's in the red. So he's either lying about that or he's using Paypal money to fund the PS4 buys. If it's the latter, then he should have transferred that money to the bank instead of wasting it on toys.

 

It's probably the latter. Realistically, he's probably in a bad situation with a lot of stress involved due to his financial problems, so he buys video games and toys as a way to deal with the stress, but that is basically him digging deeper in his financial hole, which causes more stress. It's the same attitude for extremely obese people, they have low self-esteem so they eat to comfort themselves, which leads to them becoming fatter and having lower self-esteem, which leads to more eating.

I just googled that game, may actually have to get it myself. I loved all those games as a kid. Not sure a collection of 8-bit games is worth 20 bucks though, especially when you're panhandling on the internet...

 

Well, considering that the first auction ended at 25k and the fact that Chris thinks "restoring" the shirt himself makes it worth more to him (which should make it worth more to you because he says so), I think he'll relist it for 25K at the minimum, with a buy it now price of 32K. Of course if he gets really greedy (which is always possible), he could relist it with an opening bid of 30K, with a buy it now price of 38K. Either way, I wouldn't be surprised to see that auction get boosted up to 50K or higher.

 

In other words, chris never learned anything and never will learn anything.

Yeah, probably, under the logic that in their *desperate financial situation*, no-one could possibly need the money more than the Chandlers.

I do wonder how much trouble he would get in for stealing a wallet and using the credit card?

 

Knowing Chris and his logic, his defense would be "Well, I saw the wallet just laying there, with credit cards in it. It's basically up for grabs at that point!"
