I know the whole Rollin' and Trollin' theory is kind of overdone by now. What about the theory that Chris is some kind of secret government experiment? Our reactions to him are also being tested.

 

You joke, but honestly that kinda seems like something that the cold-war era CIA would actually do.

I doubt the "Tale of Fail" is ever going to be as active as in the '00s again.

 

Twitter, Youtube, and other sites talking about Chris will no doubt muddy it all up and miss some detail or ignore it like some number of Twitter users failing to realize that even before the trolls Chris wasn't exactly clean or a number of Youtube commenters fail to realize that while Chris did harass women, most of it would just be throwing red string's with paper hearts and having a sign at Target rather than something like groping or saying sexually harassing things (unless these actually happened).

Beyond the trolls and the internet, the pity and disgust and schadenfreud and whatever other term people could put out, people do need to realize Chris is a real person that while fucked over by trolls over the years also harmed an elderly and vulnerable woman. Only way to make it all the more fucked up: trolls didn't really instill incest into Chris, at worst may of encouraged it or made fun of Chris with incest jokes and drawings as Chris still could of raped Barb regardless.

Truman Show but it's fucked up. Or just the American attempt at that one Japanese reality show that did fuck up a guy.

 

If that one lolcow weren't real, then you'd be in on the conspiracy to make him seem real.

 

Come to think of it, I haven't seen a Chris Chan before either in real life. It is like Chris is some sort of cryptid.

I am sure with Chris out of jail, I could see local weens and stuff try to make Chris sighting pictures and videos of Chris in the wild. Maybe he will get outing privileges and people will see him out and about in the community. It would be like a cryptid

 

I imagined that if Chris is in a halfway house his movement would be restricted so that he can only go to certain places like work.
The rest of the time he might have a shock collar attached to him.
I guess in that case he really would be zappin' to the extreme.

 

Shock collar? They only zap autists to the extreme at the Judge Rotenberg Center in Massachusetts. I could see having a GPS attached to him though like they usually do with people out on bail.

The question is... would they make Chris get a job?

 

I got that from a TV show, it might not be realistic. Especially for a guy like Chris...

Quite likely, I know the terms of some of these houses require the inmate to have employment. Since Chris is, well, Chris, and the crime he committed is sexual in nature this might make things harder for him.

 

Going from jail to a halfway house with restrictions can be like going from jail to another kind of jail.

 

Any place with strict rules is like a jail to Chris. He just wants to stop adulting and be pony.

 

Can one stop "adulting" when one never started?
