Yeah, though it is interesting that as of the recent census, a growing number of Hispanic people identify as "other" for race in that they don't really identifiy as white or anything like.

But yeah, I am also curious where Chris is going to end up. I am pretty sure we will find out by the end of the week, especially if Chris doesn't keep quiet.

Maybe he’s going to a group home or something? They might not give him access to social media. Just because he’s out of jail doesn’t mean the radio silence is over.

 

Yeah, I don't know about Virginia's Community Mental Health recipient rights laws, but I know in a lot of states, group homes (which operate under similar, but different regulations as mental hospitals such as not being allowed to use restraints and seclusion while inpatient hospitals are in severe cases), they can't deny residents access to the internet unless it is justified and written in the behavior plan, though, considering how much the internet has affected Chris's life negatively, the CMH officials approving behavior plans probably wouldn't even question cutting his internet access.

 

I hope he's in some sort of supervised housing that's a step up from jail

I remember reading because Chris is a low level sex offender he's still allowed housing vouchers

 

Ideally, no internet access and a new identity, because I feel that Chris cannot recognize how dangerous the internet has become, and the Sonichu community is... well... obsessive.

However, some form of closure could be helpful, perhaps a confirmation from her lawyer along the lines of:

I know it sounds hard to swallow, but I think it would be for the best for all of us, and it doesn't mean we can't look back at the memories, from Liquid Chris to the comic itself.

he'd still be obsessed with pop culture, alone with Barb, and autistic and mentally ill
he'd probably commit petty crimes, maybe he still would have committed crimes against Barb

 

I know people mentioned about the new identity thing, but I will say this again, don't think Chris is capable of maintaining a new identity, he has too much of an ego and will more than likely reveal himself sooner or later in some way shape or form. It would be really hard for Chris to be kept quiet. They'd have to have group home workers following him around everywhere in public to keep him out of trouble.

 

They want to do to him what they did to James Bulger’s killers.
Besides the ego part, we all know nobody looks or talks like IBA-san. He’d be easy to spot from a mile away.
Also (and this is the less discussed part)… one of Bulger’s killers ended up reoffending even after being moved from the UK to Canada.

The case isn't closed so my guess is he's been set up in a halfway house that is tolerant of sex criminals. Hopefully Chris doesn't have the freedom to go home otherwise Barb's fucked (in more ways then one), I'm sure they've considered that.

 

Yeah, no matter what happens, Chris will never get within a mile of that house ever again. Not legally, anyway.

Yeah, see, the thing is, if Chris were to get a new identity the first person who'd end up blowing his cover would be himself. How exactly he'd do it or whether he'd do it intentionally or not, I have no fucking clue (mostly because I threw the line on what he would or wouldn't do anymore in the trash after he fucked his elderly, geriatric mother). But I know with almost 100% certainty that no matter who they found to take care of him, no matter how far away they took him, no matter what they tried to do to prevent it, Chris would find some way to fuck his circumstance up and expose himself if no other reason than because Chris' ego cannot let him be anyone other than himself.

Chris craves and needs attention and has always gone out of his way to present himself as someone big and important, whether it's by thrusting himself into the forefront of every picture he's in or telling someone he just met that he's a celebrity. In short, like literally almost every other instance in his life his massive ego would be his downfall. After all, if Chris has mastered any talent to perfection it's the art of fucking himself over when it shouldn't be possible to do so.
