Least favorite Chris moment

It ended with Alec Benson Leary locking the thread because Chris wasn't getting better.

For me the 'least' would be a low effort trolling or just any very boring moment. I could just say any bad moment like Chris fucking his mom or the time he tried to use dying feral kittens to beg for money but that at least provoked an emotion (furious outrage.) Even when chris did those awful reactions to the brony shit offered some entertainment value.

 

Like the "radio silence" before he posted that video with the high school "replica"?

Or the "Jail of Fail Saga" now?

 

Well the jail saga's been deserved. But yes, something like the radio silence or the low effort trolling.

 

The obvious, truly vile moments have all been mentioned by now, but on a pettifogging level my least favourite Chris moment can possibly be boiled down to two things.

The first is his introduction, as Night Star, of that piss-awful 'Love Is Love (Not You've Been Pwned)' song in Sonichu. He presumably intended Night Star to come across as much-loved yet modest, affable and charming. He created a page of artwork in which she instead comes across as condescending, entitled, slow-in-the-mind and self-important. That page just really rubs me up the wrong way, for some reason.

The second, and perhaps related, is any time that he tries to sing.

 

I can relate, especially when he tries to sing 'like a woman' meaning trying to sound like a cute chibi anime girl but really just sounding like a screeching, down syndrome buzzard.

 

'Wun oh-ver wunnnnnnnnnnnnn...'

(repeat ad nauseam)

 

I mean, his normal singing is just him shouting really loudly

Yeah, but when he hits that falsetto and stwarts twalking wike a widdle gurll...
Nails on a chalk board are pleasant compared to that.

Although from what I've heard IRL, it seems parrots can sing better than Chris.

 

parrots can at least mimic sounds within a rough approximation of what they're imitating. Chris, like everything he does, puts the bare minimum into it and just shouts or sounds like he's passing a kidney stone.

 

I don't think I've heard Chris "sing", but I take it all he does is just talk loudly over a song that already has singing in it, with whatever lulzy lyrics he made up?

 

Like all of chris's ""original"" stuff, its often a hodge-podge of things he's overheard. random quotes from TV shows, songs, and movies he likes. like his 'I got a fish' song. Even if they do have some real originality its really just painful rhymes with all the depth of water poured on a sidewalk. It ties into his world view of life being like a cartoon and so a song about 'goody good goodness' should convey something grander than saccharine idiocy.

 

Maybe that The Adventures of the American Rabbit movie messed Chris up more than the "Idea Guys" ever did.

 

I'd love to see that movie, if only so I could dissect it like a Pathologist to see where chris stole body parts to make his Frankenstein creation.
