That's very possible, but chris loves to complain. If he had severe, chronic wrist pain I think he'd be bitching about it constantly.

He honestly might be numb to it/used to it at this point...

 

He does seem to be unresponsive to pain. His living conditions don't seem to bother him that much, he's totally fine with his painful grip and hell, he was pretty restrained when he shoved the second medallion up his arse. Maybe he's so ignorant to reality that he simply doesn't register physical pain.

 

Chris might be the serum for a super army that we need....

 

But that serum will come at the price of eradicating homosexuality.

You have a point. and there was the time he dry shaved his entire face to spite the trolls. Didn't seem bothered in the slightest.

 

Would we really mind this, though, if we had a bunch of stress sighing U.S Soldiers who crashed into slumber, yet they could storm North Korea and cripple that country without a shot being fired?

Chris is just one of those artists who have allowed their antics to overshadow their work. Just like Norman Mailer.

 

I have a co-worker who holds her pencil kind of like that and she's actually very talented. What some may also find concerning is that he goes straight at it with pen rather than roughing it out in pencil first. Perhaps some with actual drawing talent might find this agonizing to watch.

I'm not seeing a downside here.

But that means drawing everything twice! Who has time for that? And then waiting for the ink to dry, erasing the sketch, and going over the inks again? How will you ever finish a comic when you draw everything three times?

This is why I kinda hate seeing comics that were only penciled, scanned, and uploaded without being inked - it's the same amount of lazy and reeks of cowardice/indecision in comparison. Going straight for the inks is bold, even if it isn't wise.
