I don't really consider that to be a real transaction for more Sonichu. If Chris has some of the original Christorical items, the heart torch thing, the Sailor Moon poster, and the attraction signs, that could fetch a pretty penny, but they don't really have the resonance with people, that the totem did.

He also has to pay for bonus stuff he promised, so he'll lose all $1,500 before everything resolves. He's getting a few bucks from stamp sales (some jackass has been mass-buying to the tune of 17 sales for a total of $66. Chris also got $40 since the Totem sold). It won't help him pay the $600+ property tax bill due in less than two months, though.

It always amazes me how people love to give Chris money. $66 for a bunch of stamp covers that may end up crumpled by Chris is a dumb move. Not as dumb as the Totem fool or DStecks, but still.

 

Late, but who is DStecks and what happened with them?

 

He gave Chris $1000 to draw more Sonichu, which Chris has not done. So, he basically wasted his money by giving it to him.

 

Did Chris even say anything?

 

I can't remember, I think that he thanked him. I do remember Kiwi Farms freaking out about it and Dstecks going on threads to explain/defend what he did.

 

There's a little bit more to it, then just giving Chris $1000 for more Sonichu. DStecks made youtube video reviews of the Sonichu comics, but he also created compilation videos of Chris, making fun and mocking him. Well DStecks developed a very serious case of trollers remorse and was accused of bullying Chris and being as bad as the real trolls and so DStecks gave Chris all the money that he made from his youtube vidoes. For his troubles, Chris gave DStecks all the Sonichu amiibo that he was selling at the time(Sonichu, Rosechu and the Chaotic Combo.) DStecks says that he hates Sonichu and thinks its one of the worse things ever. You can still watch the reviews on youtube if you like.

I don't think it was remorse.

DStecks made another review after the donation. So he not only went back on his word, but he also kept doing the thing that he was supposedly remorseful about / hateful towards. It can't be a coincidence that he claimed to hate Sonichu right when there were no more comics left to review, and then he went and made another review after Chris delivered on 16 out of 100 pages. DStecks hasn't done more reviews because Chris stopped the comic first, so there's no material left.

 

I don't think we will ever really know the mentality behind DStecks. Its probably for the best though lol.

 

How could anyone actually hate sonichu?
