    I don't think Chris knows the context for the song "I Dreamed a Dream". Fantine, a single mother, loses her job at the factory and has to sell her locket, her hair, and finally herself into prostitution to take care of her daughter; she lament her suffering and reflects back on the happiness and joy of her life. Chris however sings the song like its a pop love song, his key and beat are way off its so jarring.

    ALSO! At the fucking saddest final line "Now life has killed the dream I dreamed" he tries to roll his fucking rs and makes that stupid fucking sound like it's all some big joke, like he's a kid or something and god damn it there isn't even a r to roll in the word dreamed. FUCK!

    I get the same way when he writes.

    Its amazing really. He doesn't know the context of the song, he's completely tone deaf, he's mumbling the words like he's afraid of waking barb from her thousand year slumber, and couldn't find the right key if his life depended on it. yet, in a way the song would be more fitting if it was sung by Barb and not chris.
