I think the one movie I've actually seen that I hate the most would be Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen.

Say what you want about the other Transformers movies, this obviously has the same problems in general that they have. What got me was how Michael Bay tried so hard to appeal to the youth, which was me by the way, and all he could do was very, very bad sex jokes. Even at the age of thirteen, I was sitting there feeling as if I was being insulted. I mean, yeah, clearly *this* is what I'm here for, right, sex jokes? Shock and surprise, I didn't like sex jokes when I was that age, so already off to a bad start. No, the thing I was there for was to see the fight scenes. Y'know, between The Transformers! And yeah, the movie has the same problems as the other ones, such as it takes too long to get to the fight scenes, the focus is on the humans too much, even back then I probably could've written things better in general, and even in the fight scenes they *still* had sex jokes and stuff.

It was not a fun movie to sit through, and before that I sat through a Care Bears movie. I have no idea why I did, but I did, and I enjoyed that movie more than Transformers 2, dead serious. Say what you will about the movies after that, I felt that 3 was better than 2, and I haven't seen the other ones after that because I stopped caring, but for me, the worst movie I've actually seen was the second Transformers movie. It's the first, and so far the only time I've ever written off a director in general. Breaks my heart every time I see that Michael Bay has another job in the film industry.

I remember seeing this at the Farms Movie Night and I wanted it to be so much better. I loved the shitty low-buget aesthetic (or lack of one I guess). The cardboard props, the newspaper that was a single sheet of paper with times new roman font, the 80's-tastic CGI, it totally looked like the kind of movie that I would enjoy without any once of irony. The actual movie and acting didn't work with the "We earned money to make this from working at Arby's" aesthetic. It needed weird John Waters-esque characters and a less stupid plot. Another part of my dissapointment was that the imdb article said that the characters were going to go to outer space and battle aliens in order to discover "the true meaning of Scientology" and that didn't happen in the film.

"Infested" was terrible But "Disaster Movie" was a fucking abortion never even laughed a single time while watching that movie, It's one of the few movies that I regret sitting through and actively despise.

A recent contender would be "It comes at Night", that movie was a horrible experience.

Most spoof movies that have come out in the last 5-10 years seem to have lost the idea of what makes a spoof movie funny.

They seem to think the formula is "HUR DUR, LET'S PACK IN AS MANY POP CULTURE REFERENCES AND MIX IT WITH SEX AND DRUG JOKES AS POSSIBLE! THAT'S FUCKING HILARIOUS, RIGHT?!?"

There's a reason that Airplane! is a classic and I've already forgotten the titles of most of the "X Movie" movies.

Movies like Airplane and, to an extent, Naked Gun, played the comedy as straight as possible, it was more just a send up of the genre rather then "LET'S PACK THIS MOVIE WITH AS MANY GROSS OUT GAGS AND POP CULTURE REFERENCES AS POSSIBLE AND SEE WHAT STICKS!"

Ok this just got me scolded by a friend but you know what movie I fucking hate and think it's message is disgusting ?
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. I honestly get upset about the message, and think it's feel good garbage, I don't really get upset at much in the world esp media but I couldn't sit down and watch that movie and make a fair judgement on things like acting and sound track. I just get that cross about it.

I saw Eternal Sunshine and Little Miss Sunshine as a kid and for a while I got the titles confused for some reason. Little Miss Sunshine was alright but pretty overrated, and it had some cringeworthy moments. Imagine me as a kid getting confused at all the praise going towards a movie that I, as a young kid, found to be 'meh'.

Battleship was fucking garbage. It was basically a two hour long navy recruitment film. I wasn't expecting to like it, but I hoped it was bad enough to be amusing. It wasn't it was 90% boring 10% cringe. When all the old navy guys just happened to be posing majestically when they were needed was particularly bad.

Personally, I don't see why Abigail Breslin got so much praise for it when Paul Dano really made the movie.

Way different films, frankly I just didn't much enjoy little miss sunshine. The later, I could see why it got buzz, and praise, it just wasn't my cup of tea. I think the way it kinda hit the theme, drew a lot of extra praise, yea I'd agree over rated but it's not bad. It's just not my flavor.

I think Little Miss Sunshine was the first of the Comedy Drama's I saw and that just doesn't work for me. It's like 30 minutes of build up and learning a person and relating to them.. and they farted on a date.
This. I happen to enjoy most all of Dano's work tbh. I'd like to see him do some more stuff.

Baz Lurhmann's 1996 adaptation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet frustrates me to no end. The main problem is that it's set in the (then) present day, whilst still keeping all of the original dialogue unchanged. So you get chad dudebro fratboys from drug-running mafia families strutting around an LA-type place speaking in verbose 16th-century English. Although to be fair, the sight of Leonardo DiCaprio doing spaghetti arms whilst screaming like a retard in a ridiculously dated form of English cracked me up.

I guess if you get drunk and watch it with some friends it'll be a blast. Its big deviations to the source material is what bugs me. West Side Story did it better anyway.

I hate Shakespeare plays that are done in a "modern/different" era, but the dialogue's kept the same. It's lazy and everyone does it. I've never seen one done in the actual period it's supposed to take place in.

    It's actually just shit though.

Peter Jackson's King Kong is probably not technically the worst movie I've ever seen (that would probably go to something like the visually awful, illogically plotted and poorly acted A Sound of Thunder), but it's the one that pissed me off the most. I was cajoled into seeing it with friends when it came out and it so fucking overlong and full of unnecessary shite. Kong fights T-Rexes for at least 20 fucking minutes. What sort of fucking movie has 20 minutes of the main character fighting T-Rexes in the middle of it? And he seemingly has them defeated about 3 times before they get back up, or are actually caught in vines instead of being thrown off a cliff. Basically it's just Peter Jackson masturbating to CGI and special effects.

Revenge of the Sith is also total garbage, but it's old meme to complain about Star Wars prequels at this stage.

It's still more watchable than Episode II though.

The only half-good thing in Episode II is the Geonosis arena fight.
