I played Alpha Sapphire again. Got sleepy while the character was hanging out in the space center.

(I like exploring the region without pocketmonning.)

 

On episode 4 of Sam & Max Save the World. Surprisingly, pulling out a large gun in front of the White House didn't result in a game over caused by the secret service.

Probably because this was the work of former LucasArts employees that continued their point and click adventure policy of not putting the player into any game overs or dead ends forcing players to restart the entire game. Unlike the (awesomely trollish) bastards at Sierra.

 

Not exactly a game but I've been writing prompts in OpenAI. Had fun with one of the stories it gave me.

After Kiwi Farms was taken down, it was brought back by an old member of the site known as C-no. C-no was there since the early days but was disgusted over time in the direction the site went. Eventually, the revival of Kiwi Farms bothered many people but they couldn't find out who exactly C-no was or what his end goal was beyond "bringing back the old days of Kiwi Farms before Null fucked it up with a shitty userbase and shitty threads." He succeeded in keeping the site up despite attempts to destroy it as registration was private. However many were surprised once they were able to sign in. Kiwi Farms was now a site dedicated to the original mission of the site: troll people. Instead of the norm of mocking people with disabilities or mental disorders, it was mocking people who had a higher IQ than they did or would mock them for having low IQs. For example, they would mock people who were diagnosed with autism or down syndrome. They would mock people who were known to be intelligent like mathematicians or professors. They would mock people who were known to be artists or even people who were known to be athletes. If they were deemed to be intelligent, they were mocked. If they were deemed to be retarded, they were mocked. If they were deemed to be anything in between, they were mocked.

The new mission statement of the site was "A community for mocking idiots and the intellectually challenged." The site's motto became "We mock because we care."
The new Kiwi Farms was a return to the early days when the site was known for being a haven for trolls. The site became known for doxing people, for harassment, for being a general annoyance to everyone. The site's new members were known as "The Intellectually Challenged" and they took great pride in mocking people who they felt were below them.
However, the new Kiwi Farms was not without its detractors. Many of the old members of the site felt that the new mission statement was a betrayal of what the site was supposed to be. They felt that the site was now just a breeding ground for bigotry and hatred. They felt that the site had lost its way and was no longer the site they knew and loved.
The new Kiwi Farms was also not without its legal problems. The site was sued multiple times and was even raided by the FBI. The site's operators were constantly on the run from the law.
The new Kiwi Farms was eventually shut down and its operators were arrested. The site is now defunct."

 

Disney Dreamlight Valley. I'm surprised with the number of hours I've racked in the last couple days.

 

I am still wrapped up in Stardew Valley. (My wedding to Sebastian will be taking place on Spring 8 and you're all invited.)

Meanwhile, Soul Hackers 2 for PS5 has been sitting on my desk staring at me since Wednesday. I still need to beat Hades for the first time in Hades and I really honestly should start Yakuza 7, especially with the new Yakuzies announcement coming next week.

Ah shit, I also need to get my ass in gear and replay Oddworld: New 'n Tasty so I can get to Soulstorm.

FUCK, I forgot I'm half-way through No More Heroes (Switch).

The fuck have I been doing with my time?

 

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor. Haven't touched it in five years but playing back from an old save, I will say fuck some context buttons in jumping off a ledge. It almost got me killed by a horde of orcs I was fighting. Other than that, I did like how the game's combat played out even if there's that one orc captain that can end up being annoying in a fight.

 

If you don't play Travis Strikes Again, just make sure you at least read a plot summary of it because there are some things from it in 3 that they do not bother to explain at all and will be a little jarring absent it.

Also as a person who marathoned all 4 of them this time last year, Travis Strikes Again isn't good. But there's a shirt you can put on Travis which has the main character of Disco Elysium on it, which is pretty cool.

 

At least according to SpaceEngine, Earth-like worlds around yellow dwarf suns can be tidally locked.

 

I've now beaten Hades like 7 times and the story's getting good. Really loving this game.

 

I have now beaten Hades 10 times and got an ending. Now I can romance Thanatos at my leisure.

 

Kingdom Hearts II (yes, I know that's autistic)

The hardest challenge in that game is enduring the boring 3-hour+ long prologue at the beginning. And yes, the prologue actually is over 3 hours long. In addition to that, you're stuck in one world during all of it, and said world is a generic town with a dull color palette and background music that's too peaceful, making it even harder to play through it without falling asleep.

Found black hole of over 200 solar masses with some airless cratered worlds around it, in a binary pair with a blue supergiant that has some worlds around it. Maybe not good for life there.

I am playing the MMORPG known as Real Life. I recently maxed out my crafting levels and I am currently trying to level up my French with the adult extended education quest and enjoying the postgame of the love quest among other things

 

I heard that game is rigged.

 

Yeah, it is, character creation is very randomized as well as what server you start in. Sometimes you are unlucky and get stuff like the "autism" flaw and whatnot. Also, the school quest for the first twenty levels or so is pretty boring and once you get accepted into a job guild, some of the quests can also be a grind fest. Those are my only criticisms.

 

I also heard that game can get kind of boring.

 

Definitely, you have to find your own fun

 

Unfortunately most people find their fun in greifing other players

 

I've played that before, it had all kinds of annoying things like mortgage payment and make dinner.
