I was playing Bravely Default yesterday.

 

The last time I tried to play DA:I, I was super drunk and my character turned out looking like a campy, cracked out drag queen. She had a white-blond bowl cut, neon purple blush and lipstick and bright green eye shadow.

That said, lately, I've been watching Markiplier play spooky games because I'm a big pee-pants baby. I've also been watching him play regular games that I can't afford because I'm a big broke-ass baby.

 

Playing the Pac-Man Museum compilation that was released last month. It has a bunch of Pac-Man, such as the original (no shit), Pac-Man Arrangement (both the 1996 version from the PS1 Namco Museum titles and the 2.5D one introduced on the PSP), Pac-Land, and Pac-Man Championship Edition. Unfortunately, there's no Ms. Pac-Man (this is possibly for copyright reasons: Ms. Pac-Man was actually made by Midway, and the fact that the character in general seemed to have disappeared around the same time Midway went bankrupt might not be a coincidence).

Been getting back into Oblivion in doing the Knights of the Nine expansion. Fun little romp going through it but I'm thinking of undoing the progress and going back to an old save to try the thieves guild questline.

For real though, for some reason, I just can't get into Dragon Age. I've played all three Mass Effect games 3 times each (with a fourth coming in the form of the legendary edition) but I just don't like Dragon Age. Love Skyrim, though.

Have you ever played StarCraft? I liked playing it back in the day.

 

Starcraft may or may not be my country of birth's national sport.

That said, I'm not very good at it. I was super surprised at how much I enjoyed Halo Wars, too.

This game fucking owns. I've never been into rogue-likes, but I am super into this. The soundtrack is awesome, too. The voice acting is on point, Zagreus is a smartass and Cerberus is the goodest good boy who deserves pets. (There is a trophy/achievement for petting him 10 separate times.)

Sweeney Todd + Diner Dash + Overcooked = Ravenous Devils. It stresses me out the same way Diner Dash and Overcooked do, but it's still fun. It does not hold your hand at all - you get a brief tutorial (as in, if there was any less of a tutorial, there wouldn't be one,) you immediately have to manage the two businesses (a tailor/murder parlor & a pie maker/pub) simultaneously. The issue I ran into with it is that the movements are mind-numbingly slow and you can't skip cutscenes. The voice acting gets kind of annoying very quickly but thankfully, after the opening cutscene (which you can skip, for some reason,) the only voiced lines you hear are the confirmations that they're doing shit and I think they only have like 3 or 4 lines apiece.
The game's only been out for around a month and a half, so I'm assuming they'll be updating it eventually. Hoping for the ability to speed up time, if only to make the two characters move fucking faster than a goddamn snail's pace.

 

Played a bit of the GB version of Link's Awakening.

The 2nd one where the bra was censored as necklace.

 

Bully was discounted on Steam so I decided to check it out. The main two things I knew about this game were that it got banned in some countries for promoting violence (pretty unwarranted in my opinion), and DSP's playthrough of it where he fails at geography.

Thumbs up from me. Yes the story is EXTREMELY cliche but that's part of the charm.

 

Bought Postal: Brain Damaged earlier today. Managed to beat it a few minutes ago. Not big on Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal yet I enjoyed a game that was a derivative of them more than I did on the reboot of Id's classic game and its sequel. Game may date itself with meme's from a couple years ago but honestly, it's not bad compared to other games that try to throw in memes and the author's have self-awareness. That and the game gave me wizards that'd fit Wizardchan in being 30 year old virgins and murderous furries that want to claw my face off.
