Trollfiction

This is the thread for small trollfiction works that are worth bringing up, but not worth making an entire thread for. Trollfiction, as it's name implies, is a type of fanfic that's intentionally awful and/or offensive, often soley for the sake of trolling readers and fanboy (and fangirls).
Because of the well known "quality" (or lack there of) of fanfiction, these often fall into Poe's Law territory; After all, the jury's still out on whether or not My Immortal was the work of a Troll. For some people, this is exactly what makes trollfiction funny.

Once you get past the barrage of F-bombs, misspellings, and lyrics to Lynard Skenard songs, you will come across two different kinds of fanfiction
1. Sly Cooper fics where the cast swear, kill eachother, make dick jokes, and generally act out of character.
and 2. "X dies a horrible painful death" fics, which are literally just the same story repeated over and over again, but with some words changed.

I've considered writing some absurdist fanfics and troll fics myself, although I'm not sure if I'd actually go through with it though.

 

The trollfiction to end all trollfiction.

 

I had considered writing some Sonic troll fics, since Sonic's fandom is probably the fandom most likely to take the fics seriously (other than maybe MLP, but even I have too much self-respect to write anything related to MLP, even if it's a troll fic).

Most of them involve Sonic and his pals in a historical AU, such as World War I or the Vietnam War. Or if you want to keep the military theme, set it in modern times and go full Call of Duty and make it like Tiberius Rising.

Alternately, I may write some crazy crossover troll fics in the vein of Pooh's Adventures. I don't know.

All I know is I have a lot of free time right now and I get bored easily, so why not?

It truly is. What i love about it is that its still hilarious even if you know its Troll fiction. A lot of these new fangled Troll-fics hinge upon the reader believing that they are real and that someone is a bad enough writer to make something so bad. They just become boring when you know it isn't the real deal.

Not good old HL:FLC though.

 

I remember The Pete Peterson Experience from all the way back when his name was Toxic City. The first fanfic I read was the one where Jar Jar Binks dies. It was amazing.

the fourth chapter has him getting molested to death by some kind of basement dwelling neckbeard and had a link to a horrific selfie but the photo's gone now.

chapter 2 was the best though.

I enjoy his Bible retelling.

 

The 6ft dick's troll fics are pretty funny if you can look past the blocks of text. I swear he had an Arthur troll fic, but it must've gotten removed or someone else wrote it, can't remember.

I also am kinda proud of the Internet for making sure a lot of the kiddie shows hosted on FFN (like Caillou) are full of troll fics. Still pretty autistic to write stories for any of them, but I can make an exception for troll fics.

oh man 6 ft dick was the bomb. his magnum opus was a captain planet fic crossover which ended up referencing all his greatest hits toward the end of the story when the universe unraveled and everybody died or killed each other. that one got nuked by fascist admins too. the next best thing i remember was his magic school bus story, which was culled but still exists here (just ignore the purple text where some unfunny little elitist 13 year old female comedian tries to say witty things about it)

 

To this day, I'm still not sure if Agony In Pink, Artemis' Lover, and Cloud Mows the Lawn are intentional trollfics or not.

For the sake of the authors, I hope to God they are.

 

Cloud Mows the Lawn is more likely to be a troll fic than the other two are. But it's kind of like asking if Chibi-Usa's Seventh Birthday is a troll fic--with that answer unfortunately being 100% "fuck no".

 

Cloud Mows The Lawn was absurdly detailed for a joke to be honest.

 

And so was Cupcakes and a lot of ComicsNix's stories.

 

You know, I wonder if anyone's put out an updated list of some of the most infamous fan fics of all time. I'd gather a list would have to have some of the "classics" (Agony in Pink, Chibi-Usa's 7th Birthday, Celebrain, legolas by laura, etc.) and some modern day ones (Cupcakes, Dipper Goes to Taco Bell, that racist Supernatural RPF fic where Jared and Jensen go to Haiti after the Earthquake, the Care Bear BSDM fic for Yuletide, the Conversion Bureau series), too. Hmm... I'll do some homework and probably make a master post for those at some point.

... Although I'm pretty sure the Yuletide Care Bears fic was probably a legitimate trollfic, you just never know with fandom anymore.
