Oh, this is gonna be so good.
Work continues to be stupid, figured I'd be a bit sloppy just so I could get something done...
So, how y'all doin?
How the hell do you make the dead, black eyes of Flame the Fucking Sunbird so God damn terrifying?
Flame has pants! And now I hate myself for getting the reference.
My first script actually made reference to his pants, so you ain't the only one.
Anyway, it's been FAR too long...
Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals!
Billy Mays and Mary Walsh slash fiction, ai ai ai!
So! Had a short holiday break, and in the last month I've had all of one day off from work... or at least 23 hours worth, but it's the thought that counts, right?
Here's the latest. Hopefully the next page won't take til March to finish.

*Never mind, I see the beauty
I see it just fine, and it is GLORIOUS!
Weeeeelll folks... the last time I tried take a day off of work was Feb 6 and even then I ended up working a half shift. This last week I've been working from 5am all the way to 9pm (not in one solid block, but triple shifts) and I am fucking exhausted.
Wanted to do more for TRS's 5th birthday, but since I have to go back to work in about 40 minutes, I don't get to do too much about it.
So, consider this a small consolation prize - thanks for putting up with my painfully slow release rate. Y'all are why I keep doing this. Thanks for being you.
I tip my hat and raise a glass to you good sir.
Using a new graphics tablet, trying out Clip Studio Pro's perspective tool. Me likey.

A page so nice I did dun do it twice...
The original idea I had for panel one was to have Mary flying on those stupid panels/tiles Chris introduced in his comic, but no matter what I did, it looked really awkward. Second panel was mid-range headshot, nothing fancy. Third panel I liked. Fourth panel I originally thought os doing it "Sin-Sonichu" style, but ultimately it was just out of place.
So, after redoing 3/4ths of it, here's what we got...
First panel works as a set-piece and allows me to set the scene, just so we know Mary's not hanging out on the rooftop any longer. Plus it gives me an excuse to continue trying out Clip Studio's perspective tool. Second panel I ditched the standing on panels and made it more of an effect. Also intentionally gave Mary a thicker border to help her pop out of the page. Third panel moved the shot in closer. Nothing too amazing, need to work on close-ups, but at least it's more interesting than a bust shot; and fourth panel is our reintroduction to Crystal. Hi Crystal!
Please tell me your job is as a comic book artist because your stuff is amazing!
Nope. TRS is basically the only thing I do artistically these days. Rest of the time I'm just a working stiff like everyone else. But I appreciate the thought all the same.
Someday I hope this endeavor nets you fame and fortune.
And gives chris enough of a tantrum to shit his pants.
