Chris' TV-fried brain doesn't work so well...

 

I said this was giving me Looney Tunes Back in Action vibes back on Kiwi Farms, but the more I think about it, I'm pretty sure this is going to be A LOT worse.

If the movie involves "parallel dimensions," Chris may double down on the "dimensional merge in progress" crap.

Especially if it's "the Sonic video game dimension."

So Chris claims he's giving the Sonic movie a miss, but has Chris expressed his thoughts on "Mary Poppins Returns" yet?

 

No, his latest tweet is him posting steam key codes as a sort of 'first come first serve' deal as he'd bought a humble bundle and was giving away the games he didn't want.

 

If Chris watches Mary Poppins, maybe he will Google Lin-Manuel Miranda afterwards. I want to see how Hamilton affects his comics.

 

Chris' brain is not sophisticated enough to comprehend concepts like anatomy and body proportions, at which he's always been awful, as one can easily see on his art. For him, things simply are there or aren't, like Sonic having different shoes or the blarms both on this and on Sonic Boom, which also had some unusual design choices regarding Sonic's proportions I don't remember him complaining about.

Oh no. Not just 2 blue arms but 6. Looks stupid but not as bad as I expected. The fact that he is wearing Nikes is a pretty lame product placement. Hope those shoes don’t break apart like Zion Williamson’s. And is collecting floating gold rings actually going to be a plot point of the movie? Anyway I can’t wait to hear Chris flip out over this.

 

At least it's slightly less terrifying than the new live-action genie.

It looks like it's going to be a "nostalgic reboot" in Current Year. It would be a surprise if it doesn't bomb.

Like I said earlier (either here or on KF), Nintendo managed to make Mario look pretty realistic yet true to the old design in the new 3D games, so why can't a multi-million dollar movie do that with Sonic?

 

I forgot about that movie.

 

How? It was the greatest movie of our time, along with the Street Fighter movie.

 

I have to reiterate what I said earlier, a live action Sonic movie should’ve been made in like 2002, when the series hadn’t started it’s descent and non-autistic people still enjoyed it. This is pretty much proving it. I smell a major flop. I have a feeling the poster and toys were made before the script was finished.
