@Jon-Nyan you are lying since nothing cannot be a bestseller

  3. I expect this to be as informative and riveting a read as Ann Coulter's If Democrats Had Any Brains, They'd Be Republicans.

Any book about politics that isn't strictly humor is going to be garbage. Even most of the ones that try to be funny are crap.

I quite enjoyed Colbert's books actually. Mainly because they were written in character. I wouldn't get past a dozen pages of anything written from his honest point of view even if it tried to take a comedic spin. So to add to that notion I'd say these kinds of books have to not only simply attempt humor, but that they need to be satirically funny in order to hold up against reviews. Otherwise you've effectively outcast roughly half your potential readers. I find Colbert is a consistently good example here in the sense that I probably don't agree with a fair chunk of what he believes politically, but can still enjoy his books because of the satirical angle that likewise doesn't take itself too seriously.

This book is nothing but a single Thucydides quote and a series of chapter headers capping off blank pages. It is ten USD, eight pound sterling, 70 yuan, or roughly nine and a half euro. You can personally bootleg this book without ever having looked at it in your choice of word program for Zero moneydollars.

I dunno, maybe I'm cheap but ten dollarydoos seems like a lot to blow on a coffee-table prop whose only value is in fostering a smug sense of moral superiority. Like if it was a book of sarcastic backhanded praise or unflattering political cartoons actually poking fun at the beliefs and stances of the democratic party I could get it, but it's a completely blank book that anyone would look at for like five seconds, maybe get a chuckle out of it, and then never look at again.

Even in travel size Atlas Shrugged weighs more than a standard bible.

I'm I'd totally read a book on Irish politics. Two different kinds of the same religion fighting over stuff is funny if you're an American that's uninvolved.

I Am America (And So Can You) is freakin' great. I love it when he mixes up Shinto with PokeMon, unwittingly predicting the future.
