There's a panel in the Date-Ed episode in which one character feeds the other a French fry while on a date at McDonald's. And let's not forget Rosechu asking Sonichu what his favorite color is while they wait for that Brunswick stew to heat up.

Chris just has no clue how people act and converse...must be the autism.
But my real question is at what point on this date is the scissoring going to commence? Taking an awful long time to get to it.

 

I'm sure he believes in the third date sex bit.

 

Kind of an aside, but this has got me wondering if autistic couples exist or happen frequently. Y'know, people who are about on the same bizarre wave length. Gonna research this...

Chris' drawings of humans only seemed to have worsen.

 

Two autistics in a relationship is strange. They're never truly on the same wavelength, and things get weird fast, especially if they live together.

Probably because it’s such a broad spectrum. Chris is pretty odd even for an autistic. The Wallflower was a bizarre autist and she got weirded out by Chris pretty quickly.

 

It might be because of the obsessive nature of autistics. I mean, Chris is obsessed with things like MLP, Sonic and the like, Wallflower had her own obsessions and they didn't match up with what Chris was into. If I recall, she had a thing for writing creepy incest fan fiction.

 

And just like that I'm out. That was surprisingly among things I didn't want to learn.

But interesting regardless.

 

That may have been Chris’s best chance at consensual, not-paid for sex...goddang asexual woman.

 

I'm absolutely glad they didn't get together. Who knows what creepy incest shit would start to slide into Sonichu?

Even people with autism can grasp how people interact -- if they get out and aren't cooped up in a hoard house with a bitter old shut-in compulsive hoarder and Uncle TV all the time, that is.

Obviously it would depend on how severe the autism is in the people involved. Autistic people closer to neurotypical may be able to cope with their autism and connect with eachother, but at the level of autism Chris is at, probably not.

And of course there's CWC having that desire to become pregnant with-

 

And the Idea Guy had Chris make it canon with that drawing of Chris buttfucking Sonichu to ensure the birth of Crystal.

 

The whole "Father" thing reminds me more of the sort of weird terms of endearment cartoon characters have of their creators. I know I've touched on it before, but we've had that sort of thing often happening in certain films like Betty Boop referring to her creator as "Uncle Max" in Betty Boop's Rise To Fame, or maybe Woody Woodpecker referring to Walter Lantz as his "Boss" for the opening of his show (can't find the right one in English, bear with me). I suppose the way Chris uses "father" is in much the same way despite the obvious connotations.
