Chris court date is coming up in two days (the 28th), in this thread we discuss our predictions for both the outcome of the trial and future.

Chris has admitted to several people, both openly and indirectly, to having sexual relations with his mother on multiple occasions. In terms of evidence, there is the phone recording with Bella, several discord messages, the correspondence with null, and apparently the author of Warhol / Chris Chan was told about it but I can't seem to find anything about that. I'm not sure how admissible any of this is but it was enough for the state to hold him so there's at least a chance the most damming evidence (that we know about) could work against Chris. As for physical evidence, Chris claimed to use condoms so there's a chance these could be recovered and DNA tested; we don't know what has been found with the examination of Barb but with any luck this too would be damning, it is also possible (given what we know of Chris's proclivity to film himself) that Chris has filmed himself having sex with his mother. I have the feeling Barb isn't going to testify against Chris but if she did that would make him dead to rights. As for tangential evidence which may or may not help the case, Chris bought a book called "Ultimate Guide to Sex and Disability", according to null he bought a number of sex toys, and, he bought a bottle of message oil. If Chris's letters go into court evidence a number of his statements would work against him but almost certainty they would paint a very negative picture of his personalty and psyche; his criminal record and internet infamy wouldn't help him either.

I don't have any soil predictions for the trail, I want Chris to be convinced and that fact makes me bias when looking over the facts, I'm aware of that. Regardless of the outcomes Chris will not be welcomed on the outside except by the most depraved of weens, if Chris goes home I'm sure he'll be harassed on a whole new level, if Chris goes to prison I doubt he'll be given any leeway.

this is a bench trial so the judge will make a ruling
it seems most likely that Chris will be found guilty
IDK what will happen after that, if he will go to prison or be sent to a mental hospital because he's a danger to himself due to his mental state

I think Chris will be found guilty, but let off with time served.

(also the wat tag should be added)

One thing is for sure. It won’t be like you probably think. People have this idea of a Seinfeld-esque comedy of errors trial where the entire courtroom has to watch For Julie’s Eyes Only. That’s not happening.

It will be pretty muted. Maybe a few quotable lines from Chris but I doubt many people will even be allowed in. Probably just one reporter from the local newspaper.

As for his sentence, it could go in many ways. A misdeameanor charge could get upgraded to a felony, incest could become rape depending on if they can establish consent or not. I keep thinking they could eventually decide to commit him to that hospital permanently, because he’s not stable enough to be in proper prison.

So much for Bob and Barb’s efforts to keep him out of the nuthouse back in the day.

This should go quickly, I am sure the state wants to get this over and done with quickly so everyone in the courtroom can take a shower as soon as chris is gone.

I predict some kind of continuance or delay, it seems like no one is ever in a rush to close the casebook on CWC.

Is anyone from the farms going to attend?

I'm expecting he's going to be found guilty like he has every other time he's been arrested, and he's either going to end up in the nuthouse for the rest of his life or he's going to be let out. His county has consistently given anticlimactic results when Chris gets in trouble with the law.

If he is found criminally insane, we likely won't hear from him again.

    No.

yeah, IDK about the mental health aspect of the case
from what I've heard, they can keep Chris in a mental hospital until he's stable and no longer a danger to himself
that could be a very long time

I don't think Chris was ever "crazy". All of the bullshit he spews out is more coping or receding himself to a fantasy world where he doesn't have to put up with normal reponsibilities. The last time they had to bring him to the hospital was apparently just so that he could learn court protocol, nothing more. And they can't exactly put him out on the street or put him in 14BLC, whether it be emptied or still occupied by Barb. I think what's more likely is that he's put in a group home where he's more heavily supervised, seeing how Heilberg had already decleared that Chris is the way he was due to online bullying, and that he was already separated from other inmates for his own safety.

I expect him to get let go. Chris is pretty good at convincing people he's crazier then he actually is, not that being let go will actually be better for him

Yeah I think they put him away in a mental hospital and forget about him. There's no one on his side except some public defender. Hopefully he still gets to write letters and maybe do Twitter.

According to the Farms, it will be a closed trial so no weens. The general opinion is that they'll let him go back to 14 BLC. Proably Barb goes off to some old folks home.

So Chris may get to resume the Life of Fail where it left off, sans Barb.

(very likely he'll try to contact her)

He will definitely try and contact Barb again if he gets out, she might need a restraining order or something

Looks like the "Chris is found guilty" vote is no longer unanimous.

And if that happens, Chris would likely try to violate it.

One thing is that rural Virginia probably doesn't have great mental health resources and they'll probably look for any excuse to not take in CWC.
