Noticed someone did this...
What an insightful documentary. I wonder why no one else thought about documenting Chris-Chan's life on a website or making a documentary about him before?
I'm not liking how it's presenting Chris as a tragedy. You're supposed to be laughing at this retard, not crying for him.
Comprehensive? It’s 38 minutes...We’re going to need some 20 hour Ken Burns shit to fully document Chris.
Certainly, this is Part 1 so far.
Because the documentaries by Sachumo and Down The Rabbit Hole were just appalling
To be fair this isn't as bad as going in depth on a man's spending habits
I wish Sachumo would make an extended edition. His documentary was the gold standard of CWC documentaries. But believe me, that's the only good thing he made.
True, and I do sense a healthy bit of satire in this as he portrays Chris as a tragic figure. This guy definitely could have done a lot worse.
The thing about Chris documentaries is that you can't really please anyone with them. If you make an hour long documentary about just the big stuff, people will start complaining about why (just to pick a couple random examples) something like the unmasking videos or the mystery man weren't mentioned. Honestly, I think the issue is that most of the people in the community that follows Chris read the Cwcki, and because it's so large, chose to focus on the big things and assorted small things. So, there tends to be arguments on what people 'should' know by reading the Cwcki and what they shouldn't care about. How do you please an entire community with mindsets like that?
Not to mention, how much effort should you really put into a subject that is as niche as this? Is it worth giving the CWC community the four-hour documentary that covers everything like we want considering how few of is there are?
Well, they made a Jandek documentary, and Jandek is even more niche than Chris, so there's that. People will make documentaries about anything these days, and the best way to get a documentary noticed is by making one that will be actively searched for by people in niche communities. Case in point, this thread.
This white knight POV crap is some hokey bullshit.
A real documentary would delve a lot more into Borb's shitty parenting and measure the costs in OPL's collateral damage that is his resulting life I think. This didn't even raise the term of 'mainstreaming' while dancing around the real problem if you want to present CWC as a tragedy instead of a grim comedy.
I think it's mostly a stunt to get chris to notice it and talk about it. The first goal of weenege is getting attention and they've come up with creative ways to get said attention, And with chris getting more and more popular, so come more and more weens looking to pave their way into christory.
Chris said he dislikes the documentaries made of him because they don't focus on the good he's done. This might be an attempt to butter him up
To butter up his ass so this guy can kiss it some more.
I vape as well, gentlemen.
But seriously, how many more times can we watch something that portrays Chris as either a comedy but or a villain? A sympathetic Chris portrayal is all we have left.
But he's not a sympathetic face, he's a comedy heel worthy of the Rushmore monument of comedy heels. Plus this thing put Bob over as the biggest sympathy face of all I thought anyway but whatever floats your boat.
At least we have a main suspect for the Josh Wise IG identity replacement going forward in 2018 from this thing...
Spoiler: Part 2 Electric Boogaloo
I wish someone would make a proper fucking documentary.
With that said, I want a Chris documentary styled after Cosmos. The Carl Sagan one. And we'd better be flying in a spaceship through the CWCmos (CWCVille, Chris's bedroom, the rest of the hoarded house, Charlottesville, a computer, and the tubes of the internet).
And the presenter had better do a good goddamn Carl Sagan impression the entire time.
Fund it now!
Once again, not saying that he is. I'm just saying how many times can he be portrayed that way. Chris is awful. We know already. How many more times can it be said. All I'm saying is that a sympathetic portrayal of Chris is a breath of fresh air sometimes, simply because the other portrayals have been done to death.
But seriously, what's your favorite vape juice flavor?
