    IT'S STAR TREK TIME, GUYS!!!

You can thank Saban for that mess (stringing three different films together and hope nobody notices).

Didn't know they made a sequel, liked the first film anyway.

That movie's greatest sin was not sticking much to the canon of the source material (which by the time consisted mostly of simple, colorful platforming games with blocky sprites and not much depth to their stories, people always seem to fail to realize that there was a great need or interpretation and adaptation when judging this movie). But as a stand-alone product it's a pretty decent piece of 90s-flavored memorabilia.

You call this a sin? I think the interpretation of the canon was very amusing.

I liked the Fantastic Four movie. The 2005 one, not the piece of shit reboot.

I think Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer is quite good.

Cruel Intentions, I've only seen it about 200 times because it used to be on TV all the time when I was a teenager.

I thought I was the only one who liked that film unironically.

Other guilty pleasures of mine include American Ninja, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Van Helsing, and the Urotsukidoji Series.

Of course, there's also The Room, but that's like The Godfather of bad movies.

DBZ is like this for me, I don't really care much about the anime but I enjoyed the manga and some of the video games. The movies are dumb but I have fun watching the awful Malaysian dub of them. I did like the most recent 2 movies though.

Third for Mario Bros. On top of being an over-the-top parody that actually isn't a parody, the scenery and special effects were pretty well done.

I was actually scared of the troll when I first saw the movie, as a pussy-ass child baby bitch

    Guilty pleasure for me..

Let me tell you all about a little movie called
    The Devil's Rain
    [IMG]

Now, this movie stars William Shatner, Tom Skerritt, Ernest Borgnine (as a Satanic cult leader), Ida Lupino, Keenan Wynn, and was the film debut of John Travolta! Quite the star-studded cast, must be a great movie. Well, it is , but not in the traditional sense.

See, this movie is bad, and there's just something about it. I don't know exactly, maybe because all the sets and locations they shot on are so barren and decrepit, and dank looking, you actually feel like you're kind of ill just watching it. Not like you're going to puke, but it doesn't sit right in your stomach.

Now, the plot is that a local family is in possession of a rare Satanic tome and this family has been harassed for generations by the local Satan cult, who are trying to get the book back. Why does some podunk family of ranchers have an ancient Satanic book in their possession? Yeah, The Devil's Rain doesn't give a fuck about backstory or your need for context. The film starts off with tWilliam Shatner taking the book to the cult to challenge their leader, to defeat the cult permanently, to prevent...something vaguely evil from happening. He is subjected to a test of faith, which he fails, and then becomes a member of the Satanic cult, and gives up the book. One interesting thing to note is that all the cult members, save the leader Corbis (Borgnine), are missing their eyes.

After that, Shatner's brother, who is played by Tom Skerritt, comes to search for his brother, with his wife, and happens upon the cult. Odd, that the family has been harassed by the cult for generations, yet Tom Skerritt only seems to have a basic knowledge of who they are. This confrontation culminates with Corbis reading an incantation from the book, and transforming himself into a goat-like demon. The cultists attempt to capture Tom Skerritt, but he escapes, and discovers that the source of the cult's power is in a fancy looking bottle containing lost souls, known as "The Devil's Rain."

Long story short, it's broken and the cultists are all melted by the Devil's Rain (yes, melted). and Tom and his wife escape, and Corbis is defeated....OR IS HE?!

The movie is not pleasant at all to watch, but for some reason I enjoy it. Interesting bit of trivia, apparently the shooting of the film was "plagued" by "eerie events and accidents", so much so that Ernest Borgnine vowed to never again work on a project with the subject matter (Satanism)

I dunno how I forgot this when I brought up the third Ninja Turtle movie, but I still like the 2007 TMNT movie for some reason despite its many problems. I dunno, maybe it's because I like Splinter's design and Raphael's my favorite of the Turtles and I just liked him a lot in this film, or maybe the graphics looked really cool for the time. Can't really explain it, maybe it's for the same reason I still enjoy the third movie and liked Out of the Shadows.

I'm sure it's a case of different strokes for different folks. That design for Splinter in the '07 film wasn't that bad (perhaps a bit too wide size-wise the way his head looked on the body but they did went with that angular look that was common then).

That film was produced by Imagi Studios, who also did 2009's Astro Boy feature I simply hated wasting my time seeing. The studio went under after that.

EDIT: Still looking back, this design wasn't as bad as what they did in the 2012 Nickelodeon series, as 3D designs go, that one just looked odd to me the way Splinter resembled a a bell or funnel in his shape.

While I generally prefer Digimon to Pokémon in nearly every way, I do like Pokémon: The First Movie as a sort of guilty pleasure. Never saw the other films.

My guilty pleasure films: 10,000BC, Lost In Space, Godzilla(Matthew Broderick version) and The 13th Warrior.

Put one of them on tv and I am glued to the screen.
