Like I said earlier, I let my inner ween out to play and nominated Jamsta Sonichu for the Radio Personality category. I'm honestly surprised it took a few hours before a JULAY-related option popped up somewhere.

 

You haven't been on the internet, or this site, for very long then.

I think it was done more out of laziness than stupidity. On that note, AC/DC has been nominated for best local musicians, and I checked all of the categories and I can confirm that when I checked, Chris (or something related to Chris) was in the top 5 for most categories, and the top 10 for every single category. He's also leading for the minor celebrity thing, and the tv personality. I imagine that a story in the local newspaper will use this as an opportunity to talk about how votes for Christine shouldn't count because they were made by trolls.

 

Hmmm, now I wonder if it was Christine who nominated himself in the first place.

 

Probably, he has a huge ego.

If it were to end right now, he'd be a minor celebrity, TV and radio personality, with the second most popular band in C-Ville, living in the city's most popular neighborhood and day-trip destination, second-most-popular dating spot (thanks, @TheVoid), third most popular music venue, and third most popular art gallery. Great for trivia nights and dog-watching, too!

I'm actually surprised his ego hasn't overloaded at this point.

But yeah shame on whoever started this poll have they never learned from anything in the past? I've pretty much always been the youngest person in the companies I've worked for and there's been multiple occasions where I've had to say NOOO DONT THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE THE INTERNET WILL RUIN IT. Maybe they don't have an intern? Or an intern that just never uses the Internet.

 

I think it started out with good intentions, some person with knowledge of Chris going "Heh, let's put his name in for a lark, I mean, he *does* live here, and he *is* infamous..."
