FB 3/1 - Selling Bob's stamp collection (3/2 - Chris bought toys afterwards)

On one side you have your late father's stamp collection he's spent decades on. Then on the other side you have games that have been bought and never played after once. I think Chris has made the right choice here guys.

 

I could see the old Chris waving it around in videos to scare trolls. I imagine something deeply disturbing would happen with new Chris, like he would go to a Trump riot and bring the gun and start shooting anyone that suggested "Hey, maybe this isn't such a good idea."

 

Even Chris' sales are gross like him.

 

Just mention to him to look down the barrel and squeeze the trigger to make sure the bullets cycle properly.

 

I'm not really worried if Chris found a gun - I doubt he could use it. Only in his comics is he a homicidal maniac - IRL he maces people and waddles off.

 

Chris listed 10 more stamps on Ebay. He's generally pricing them at $20 each. Most of the ones he had sold so far were $5 each, so most of these will likely go unsold.



I wonder which toy he wants to buy this time.

 

It seems that chris bases his prices on which stamps look pretty rather than actual value..

 

Yeah, coming up with a fair price for stamps is difficult even for people who aren't like Chris - there are a lot of factors that go into the price.
I thought Chris looked up some similar eBay listings and based his price on that - which is a reasonable but flawed strategy. But like always Chris doesn't understand the value of money, like the $1,000 for a stamp album worth a few bucks.

 

Aren't things that are pretty valuable anyway?

 

It depends - you could have a historically significant stamp with a cancellation mark that obscures much of the stamp and it could still be valuable (although not as valuable as a mint stamp, of course). Then you could have a pretty stamp that, as I've said before, is only worth a few cents.

 

Chris bought yet another toy - a $9 Transformers figure.

He spent more on toys ($90) than he made from selling Bob's stamps ($85 minus shipping costs).
