FB 13/10 People pretending to be JQ and jelous of Pewdiepie

So in the past few days we've learned that Chris is jealous of Pewdiepie and his own pony avatar, primarily because they have Sweethearts. Good to know.

 

I wonder if Chris cares that envy is one of the 7 Deadly Sins, seeing as how he already believes in limbo?

 

Personally, I think his Christianity is skewed and incoherent. He probably wouldn't be able to answer the question "what branch of Christianity do you belong to?"

 

Not surprising, since that's kinda true for lots of American Christians nowadays. As a Christian myself, I have personally observed this a fair bit.

 

I have to agree despite not being of any faith myself. In fact, any knowledge I have of christianity comes from me following Sun Tzu's famous quote "know your enemy"

 

Oh, this isn't something that needs faith to see. American Christians are too comfortable, and therefore don't understand the faith they follow. I can't say I'm not entirely in that camp, even though I might know a bit more about it. Turns out there's a *lot* of stuff in the Bible, so I don't blame people for not understanding things in it. You know, that kinda thing. But I ramble.

I find it interesting that you use that reason. I feel the same way about Islam, but the only difference is I have yet to find a convenient way to actually read their holy book. Which is disappointing, because my brother found it once, and told me he stopped reading pretty quick because it was, in his words, "anti-Semitic diatribe." It sounds like a good read, and I have yet to so much as find a physical copy of it.

 

When you know your enemy, it helps you understand their thought processes and how to counter their arguments. An example being a Christian is against Gay rights because the bible said so and they quote the book of Leviticus. I will ask them, "what happened to love thy enemy?" and also ask them if they follow Jesus' teachings or they follow just Torah which the book of Leviticus is from

 

That's what I go by too, to be honest. And a pretty good example, if I do say so. Because those should be easy questions to answer if they actually know anything that's in the Bible.

But seriously, Chris knows absolutely back shit about the Bible or really any religion in general. I would say overall he seems like a humanist deist of sorts.

 

Yes, he knows nothing about Christianity except that he has to go to church every sunday. Other than that, I agree with you

Virginia seems to have a problem with overdoing the whole calling out of stuff like that, so I can totally see that happening.
