Yeah, it's not like bruises are known for being multi coloured or anything. If I hadn't read the word bubbles, I would have guessed it was residue from his space prosthetics.

 

If the next couple of pages show Marina's back going from purple to brown to a lighter yellowish brown I'd be like, "nice attention to detail."

 

Now, I really don't want to hear anything about domestic abuse or if something like this happened in that book '50 Shades of Grey' (I haven't even read that book or seen the movie). Accidents like this can happen between lovers, especially if the man is of great strength. But he really didn't mean it.

Silver, probably. O hai, Jimbo.

 

A couple more things I want to point out:

1) The comic is called "A Beautiful Night". The female character gets severely hurt. Okay...

2) Why are the bruise marks in the shape of scratch marks? The only logical way she could get bruises in that shape is if Silver took a chisel and hammer and pounded those marks down her back.

Naked Silver is something I never wanted to see. I'm still trying to figure out if that or the dialogue is worse.

Probably the dialogue. Who outside of a romance novel talks like this?

Overly dramatic reaction aside, it's definitely got some so-bad-it's-funny, mainly because literally nobody, especially Silver, talks like this. Like, I can imagine someone just out of frame holding up cue cards.

Really though Naked Silver for me. The other I can laugh at. Though the fart cloud censor is kinda stupid too.

There is some serious disconnect here between how Silver sees it and what's actually happening.

I put together the most recent pages in case people get miffed with having to put in their birth dates if they're not a DA member (I know it's supposed to make you only do it once, but for some reason I have to do it for each image).

Silver's angst and tantrum are so hilariously awkward and off-key and Marina just ignoring how bizarre it is makes it even worse. DF's never been a 5 star writer but she certainly hasn't been this out of touch in wtfery, in my opinion. I had figured she'd have Silver just murmur apologies to Marina and hug her close or even sit at the edge of the bed looking guilty and then that's it, still melodramatic but not this hilarious.
