Doopie Saga?

A new user recently added a new saga to the Saga article. Chris's new infatuation with an internet character, Doopie. Chris constantly replies to the twitter account (including unpromptedly sharing details of his life), became a patron (whilst under financial strain) and received a drawing which he now holds up in the highest regard. The more I think about it, the more it makes sense to me. I definitely think this is worthy of being called a saga.

 

She's not boyfriend free but maybe her boyfriend would be down for a sexy lesbian 3-way with Christine.

 

I think it counts as a saga since there's two-way communication between Chris and his sweetheart, just no "trolling".

 

In Chis's mind they are sweethearts, so yah why not.

 

Nah, Chris isn't delusional to think Doopie is a sweetheart, like Megan and Wallflower.
Also Sagas are things being discussed long after they've ended, so it's hard to decide what the present saga is. Also, if Chris dropped Doopie tomorrow, would we even bring it up in, a month, 2 tops?
If there's a Doopie Saga there are Tara Strong Saga, Tabatha St. Germain sagas and other kinda known people who s/he responds to.
She can get a CWCki page, but to call a handful of tweets and a paid commission a saga is stretching.

 

The delusional one-way companionship is definitely gonna lead to some funny shit. Especially now that the briefest contact has been made, I can see Chris really clamoring for more attention from her.

I think it's shaping up to be a saga, but I wouldn't call it one yet.

Nothing of note has really happened yet, and I could easily see this fizzling out when Chris finds something new to get obsessed over.

 

The love quest grinds on.

 

I think if nothing more interesting happens with the saga in a few months, it should be removed. As to whether it stays in the meantime... I suppose it could be useful to mark what he's up to.

I might write up an article for Doopie later. I'm not sure there's enough content, so it might be something like "Chris and socialization," with a section for Twitter (Doopie, Tara, etc), and a section on his IRL friends (stuff like the time one of them advised him how to get a job on FB and he flipped out and ranted against working).

 

Chris thirsting after a random woman who ignores him outside of a vendor/consumer relationship does not a saga make.

 

Well, more to the point, it's "Ignores him unless weens annoy the shit out of her about him."

It could also be "Ignores him, unless you count the fabled, supposed FB message she wrote where she called him repulsive and horrible"

 

I like the idea of a general Chris and Socialization page where we can throw his MySpace messages, his Twitter replies, and examine how Chris responds, either by being in love or focusing on Chris problems. That way if some new Twit (let's call her Loopie) tweets and gets a response were not like, "OMG LOOPIE SAGA!"

 

If chris were to do retarded shit in the future like he's done in every other saga, then yes it would be a saga
Until then, a drawing and some thirsting don't make a saga, just a regular week for Chris

 

This basialy boils down to more money wasted for the finachu saga.

There is nothing “epic” or “lulzy” about him pestering someone on Twitter. Literally, he just feels like they’re besties because she doesn’t completely ignore him (because basically, she can’t). He’s paying her to be nice to him.

There’s no content in calling it a saga. It’s him being lonely and tweeting at people. He does the same to the MLP voice actresses, but you don’t see that being called a “Saga”.

Motherfuckers need to stop trying to force content. Chris does fine on his own.

 

I lump everything CWC does nowadays together as the "Tomgirl Saga" or the "Financhu Crisis."

 

I agree with this, it's Chris being Chris, to someone new, not really a saga... barely love quest, mostly virtue signaling for TG quest and a lot of why am I poor after spending my money - the quest.

Frankly Financhu issues are the most interesting to me, I know credit... I know money... it's what I do for a living and I'm just wondering A: how he makes it day to day B: how anyone let them rack this kinda debt up (yes lending is often evil but when you know you are gonna lose out.. it's not worth it to prey, this is like eating road kill when there's a deer taking an nap and shot gun in hand next to it in regards to lending to the Chandlers) C: how it's all going to go do, as some of their income (if not all) is going to be protected.
