New letter from the Jail of Fail to an "Onion Farms" user called "Celestia". The letter heading has a drawing of some hedgehog saying "I FORESAW YOUR LETTER LONG AGO".

Chris has also been sending out "blessings" on soda bottle labels.

I read on KF it's because people on the outside would send inmates paper laced with meth.

 

This brings up the question - since Chris is in jail and not prison, is he getting medicated for what's clearly mental illness? Cuz if not, he should be, otherwise, it might be an improvement if Chris eats meth paper. Hell, we might even get more Sonichu.

 

If the case hinges on getting as clear a psychological evaluation as possible, how much can Heilberg and company force Chris to medicate?

 

From what I've seen on documentaries (primarily National Geographic's "Lockdown" series,) in prison, drugs are regulated, but that's after they've been sentenced.
But even if it's for a psych eval, I'd think they'd place him in a controlled environment (like a hospital) in order to observe him, as opposed to keep him in jail.

Again, all my knowledge comes from watching "The First 48," "Lockdown", "The World's Toughest Prisons", etc. I do know a retired cop I could ask, but I have no idea how to approach the subject without coming across as any weirder than he already thinks I am.

 

It'll be really interesting to gauge how this otherwise seemingly sleepy county handles things going forward, particularly whether they care that the Internet is watching them like a hawk, or if they conclude all the hubbub is the work of a few ignorable rabble-rousers.

 

I believe in one of his letters (I can't believe I read all that shit,) he did say he was being kept in his own cell, but again, this is jail, not "Bang-Me-In-The-Ass" Prison. I think county jails do have solitary areas for the especially bad/uncooperative/unstable inmates, though. But I also think depending on the jail, there are cell blocks that are separated from the rest of the others, either for solitary confinement, protective detail, or medical.

Goddammit now I want to re-watch Lockdown. It's a really good series.
