    I think the uploader once said it's because it's a natural reaction when a fawn gets separated from the mother -- lay low until the mom (or a kitten) finds them.

    It is a little known fact that certain horses start out as moths. Once they've accumulated enough biomass their wings are reabsorbed into their body and they morph into a horse.
