Because let's face it, if there's one thing funnier than Chris, it's people trying to be a figure in his life like Kengle did but including everyone else who does this.

 

These news articles make laugh. They dont know shit about his actual gender identity (possibly thinking we are being assholes by disputing his gender issues).

His fucking psychotic meltdown over the Emoji Movie.....just......wut?

 

People seem to be really angry about the Emoji Movie. Honestly, I don't get what the big deal is. I mean, I get that the premise of the movie is lazy, but not much more than other kids movies, and at least they are making a movie with something kind of modern instead of searching for old properties with even a small amount of interest from people. No one is expecting it to light the world on fire, but the way some people are acting, you'd think that the movie will contain a chant that will summon Tiamat and those satanic dragons and destroy the world.

Note: I think it's Tiamat. I could be wrong.

 

Not to venture too off-topic, but It's a combination of a lot of things it seems:
a) The botched first trailer that got universal hate
b) Film geeks sick and tired of films having "OMG, NO ORIGINAL IDEAS", and basically now either being rehashes of older properties or the latest "pop culture" thing.
c) The film just apparently looking uninspired and not funny.

 

I'm just going to reply to this comment, then hopefully we can end the conversation here and talk about something else.

If you know the movie is going to be something that you won't like, ignore it and it will literally go away. That's basically how capitalism works. The more people bang on about how it is terrible, the more free promotion it gets, and the more chance it has to be successful. I learned this lesson when I refused to see the new Ghostbusters movie, but I complained about what Sony was doing in relation to the movie to my sister, and how much I hated the movie because of it. In response, my sister bought me a copy of the movie as a joke, which meant that I indirectly supported the movie with my hatred for it. Also, you can bet that the movie got more support than it should have gotten from people who raced to the theaters to watch the movie so that they could post a review somewhere online, or take a picture of the empty theater, or to see if it would be 'that bad'. You can bet money that people will basically do the same thing with this movie, they'll support it with their hatred.

Go watch a movie like 'Get Out' and promote movies like it if you want more films to be made with originality. Completely ignore movies like the emoji movie if you don't want the industry to continue making movies like it.
