Anyway it'd be nice if this place kept up with ADF antics more. There was a livestream, the "daughter bike" got covered in lights and stickers, and ADF just straight up demands money because he blows his.

I think if he does something big like mace a gamestop employee (or something, I don't know) then I think he'll get much more attention from the average hunter. I don't think there's a thread on him on the Farms so maybe he really is a niche cow. Same applies for Waterboard and even Kengle to an extent.

 

Can I just say that I enjoy it when a lolcow starts to receive special treatment from Kiwi Farms. ADF got a hidden subforum specifically to annoy him, Nick Bate had that thing where the entire site celebrated after he was sent to jail (or whatever happened there, I stayed far away from Nick because he was one of the few that I didn't want to know anything about), the Jace thingm and a couple other examples. Heck, even Waterman received special treatment from time to time.

Symbiotic relationship I guess. They need lolcows as much as lolcows need them. They feed off of each other.

That being said, I've always maintained the belief that Kiwi Farms needed to have less moderation over it's user base. Maybe it's my idealized belief, but the most interesting threads on Kiwi Farms (not the most interesting subjects, or content, but discussions mostly) were on the obscure sections that mods wouldn't bother with, and the Entersphere when it was just Jumping Dwarf dealing with it. Yeah, there was weird amounts of drama, but it was kind of fun seeing those train wrecks. Plus, there were those weird little things that would happen once in a while, like that thread where the comic artist joined the site and the people who mocked her got along with her enough that now she posts her comics pages on her own thread and gets support from the people on the thread.

 

I think that started to be an issue when it came to Shaner. The thread on him was doing fine and there was lots of gold coming from it, but then, once the weens started trolling him in unfunny ways, and it just turned into a shit show, Null had his little meltdown, was all "OMG, U GUIZE ARE AS RETARDED AS HE IS!" and shut the whole thread down.

 

I don't remember Shaner too well. Is that all there is to it or was there more?

So, how public was Null's meltdown? Was the drama contained to the thread (mostly) and he attracted more drama to the thread with a meltdown, or even one of those things where he frontpaged a note saying "OMG, STOP BEING TARDED GUIZE, GAWD!! YOUZE MAKINGZ UZ NORMAL GUIZE LOOKSZ BADSZ."

 

IIRC, weens basically started doing a bunch of.....well, ween like trolls to fuck with Shaner, and the thread on him went from laughing at Shaner's tard-raging to a bunch of people going "ZOMG, LET'S TROLL SHANER THIS WAY! IT WILL BE TEH LOLZ!"

I seem to recall Null got pissy because ED and some of the /chan boards basically started pointing and laughing at how retarded the weens were acting, and Null basically took it as "ZOMG, THEY'RE LAUGHING AT U GUIZE AND IT'S MAKING ME LOOK BAD GOD DAMMIT!", so Null basically made a post in the Shaner thread going "Pool's closed cause you're all being retarded, everyone GTFO!" banned Shaner, and locked the thread, and basically said "if anyone else posts anymore shit about this train loving tard, it's getting deleted!"

 

Ah, that sounds about right. I imagine that might have been a factor in those secret threads that only members who'd been with the site for six months or so could access. The TRUE AND HONEST Kiwi Farms weens and trolls could talk about their trolling plans and their weening away from the meanies at 8Chan.

 

Null really started to get on this kick where he would chimp out when lolcows would be met with too many weens in threads. Basically, it turned into "GUIZE, STOP BEING RETARDED! ED AND THE CHANS ARE MOCKING US! WE'RE SUPPOSED TO BE THE COOL TROLLS!"

 

Why does Phil always say "Do not share, copy/paste"? Is he paranoid that the authorities are after him because he's such a brave and special neurodivergent womyn of colour and they're all Nazis?

 

Maybe it's just to prevent the person who originally made the post from receiving hundreds/thousands of notifications whenever the post is liked and/or receives a comment.

 

It seems to be something he picked up from other people and doesn't fully understand. For example on his e-begging he begs people to share his posts. Phil seems to only do it on his politically radical posts so he probably doesn't want the cis white government to be able to trace him through shares or something.
