I'd agree with that Chris isn't crazy. I also like to follow up that Chris is more likely to be batshit insane considering things like the letters.

Fqr as this all goes I wouldn't be surprised if Chris' mental state in all of this lied between trapped in denial and insanity. Far as the trolling goes, the Idea Guys and the like all made enough of an impression on Chris that the delusions all got firmly rooted and we'd need a crack team of therapist and a miracle to get Chris to accept reality and abandon all the delusions.

Yeah, somewhere deep inside is a repressed part of Chris that knows everything is a lie but it's likely small and tiny compared to the rest of Chris that buys and follows into the delusion.

Isolation can do things to an individual and don't forget who Chris has regular contact with that wasn't Barb after Bob's death and the fire.

 

One compelling reason Chris believes - or at least wants to believe - in multiple "dimensions" is that he took the real yet unproven idea of the "multiverse" and ran with it.

 

Chris has written a new set of 10 commandments. They’re boring and not even worth copypasting.

 

That and likely to try and rationalize the current situation of being stuck in jail and cut off from things like video games. Being jailed may as well made Chris cope in the worst way that we get the goddess and merge shit to become "Child of Emanuel."

 

Although to the surprise of no one, he specifically wants adultery to be OK.

Also he thinks Christianity is going to be "upgraded" soon.

I gather that if he did "upgrade" religion, it'd have values not unlike those of Sodom and Gomorrah, but with more fictional cartoon characters and giving Chris asspats.

4: Also despite the first one, Chris says one has to keep the Sabbath holy.

I think Chris may really be OK with any kind of sex - consensual or not - if he's the one doing it.

But because of his bloated ego and hypocrisy, he likely wouldn't be OK with getting cucked himself.

One could argue that's because the real God - not necessarily as conceived by "old-fashioned" Christianity - wants people to have freedom of religion. Or that God works through people so we can learn and grow spiritually. But yeah, the "old-fashioned" view of a vengeful smiting God from the literal narrative of the Bible is kind of challenged there.
