Legal Jail of Fail

It’s possible Chris saw this last arrest like the others. A night or two in jail, some boring court things scattered throughout the months, and then a fine that Barb would pay off.

But on the other hand, he knows that people who do wrong go to jail, like for a while. The question is, does Chris understand that what he did is really wrong, and I say yes.

Like Null said about his last interaction with Chris, Chris knows when he’s doing something wrong because he lies or intentionally leaves out details, and (thought he) knew how to get away with it.
Chris knew what he was doing was wrong and Null wouldn’t be ok with it, so Null got half truths and lies, “Im having sex with…an older woman who’s over 50.” “Barb didn’t give me money, I found small blessings.” “It was an emergency, I was going to pay her back.” (I don’t believe Chris had any intention of paying Barb back when the $1000 came in, but we will never know for sure.) Chris thinks he’s some psychological mastermind who can tell half truths and say he didn’t really lie, but in reality he’s an idiot. It took Null like a minute to figure out Chris stole the money.

Chris thinks he’s smooth, and he’s not.

Chris might be going for the insanity defence because he’s naive and probably thinks he’ll be found not guilty and go home like this never happened, what Chris probably doesn’t understand is if he is found insane, he’s just going to get institutionalized until he’s deemed fit to stand trial, and have to face consequences.

 

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Chris thinks if he wishes hard enough it will all go away or as long as his lawyer isn't a major wimp like Rob Bell that he'll be fine.
IDK it seems like he's cooperating with his attorney in his defense, although he seems clueless that sending letters to Null and Kengle could come back to bite him.
Or he could be going total manchild and be blissfully unaware of how screwed he is.

 

If Chris could read Greek and Roman mythology instead, I imagine he'd fancy himself as Zeus.

(especially since Zeus could hurl lightning and transform himself into animals in the myths)

Forgive me if this has been asked, but:

At this point, how easily can Chris scupper a sensible plea deal by insisting on a Bold Strategy? Last time that happened, Chris (and Barb) had Rob Bell, a paid attorney. This time, there’s David Heilberg, a public defender. How much leeway does he have to say to Chris “Fuck your Jesus shit, you’re taking this plea?”

 

IANAL but I'm pretty sure the lawyer can resign or Chris can fire his lawyer at any time. Also, I'm pretty sure it's up to Chris and Chris alone to take a plea.

So yes, Chris can be dumb and fire his lawyer and demand a jury trial if that's what he wants.

 

Saw the new letter and the years it took off my life I'm never getting back. What is even happening anymore? Who the fuck convinced Chris they're reincarnated Jesus? I guess the bible they give in prison just- Is making Chris even crazier? Chris won't need to plead insanity because they're already fucking insane. Chris just needs to open their mouth and they'll be institutionalized, at least that's how I see it.

 

Chris' crazy is increasing exponentially?

 

Honestly, I feel like the combination of:
a) All of the bat shit insane things the Idea Guys put into Chris' head
b) His (possible) realizing that he might now face consequences for his actions
c) His realization that he's not gonna be back at the Horde to play vidya and assemble Legos anytime soon

Has made him finally snap like a rubber band.

 

If the Idea Guys didn't try to become "The Next Clyde Cash", would Chris be in the "Jail of Fail" now?

Chris is mentally unstable and people have joked about Chris and Barb committing incest since Bob died, so there's no real way to know if the Idea Guys didn't screw with his mind if he would have had the idea of committing incest with Barb on his own

Chris has committed minor crimes for years, even before the internet discovered him. It seemed likely that he would end up in jail again, but for something minor, not for a sex offense.

 

I have done a bit of research on insanity defences in the U.S. (and made me thankful I never pursued a law degree).

About half a percent of ceiminal insanity pleas actually make it to trial. (5 out of every 1000) and even less are upheld.

In chris' case he would have to undergo through Psycological testing to be declared insane. And we are not talking something easily done in an hour, but one psychologist from the prosecution and one from the defence.

At this point the chance of the court entertaining the idea of a criminal insanity plea is razor thin.

If you want a good idea of how the judge will react to chris being chris at trial, not just in an arraignment hearing, go look up people mouthing off to a judge on youtube.

 

Another letter from Chris in response to what looks like weens trying to convert Chris to Islam.

(Chris claims he can feel the cosmos - "multiverse" - via "meditation" and that he speaks truth or something.)

Shit like this and that "New Animated Sonichu" whatever-the-fuck are "JULAAAAY"-tier. I'd go so far as to say they're worse because the amount of effort that they're putting into this unfunny, tryhard bullshit far exceeds the payout. These idiot knuckledraggers don't understand the concept of "trolling" Chris and think that whatever's considered "edgy" right now + Chris = funny.

That kid's script is fucking awful. When I responded to his thread and subsequently locked it, I specifically didn't read any of his scripts so I could be as diplomatic and polite as possible. Holy Hell.

The window lickers trying to convert Chris to Islam are just as bad. Effort and money was spent to send Chris a letter (multiple letters) in order to get him to respond. Now that he's cooped up in a cell, he's a lot more lonely and it's a lot easier to get a personalized reaction from him. Like, what's the end game? New weens are just tryhards aiming for the low-hanging fruit of a withered, dried up, old lolcow.

But think of the fucking circumstances. Chris is in jail for fucking his mother. There's nothing fucking funny about that to begin with; it's really sad, if I'm honest. Don't get me wrong, I don't feel any pity towards Chris, but like, goddamn, this isn't macing a GameStop employee or drawing bras on the "Magic Mike" displays at Target. This isn't even close to knocking over someone (twice) with a minivan. There is nothing funny about Chris' current predicament. It's gross and creepy.

Some weens wrote a letter to Chris trying to convert him to Islam. They got back a bunch of gibberish.

 

As stated above, these weens spent time and money making a letter trying to convince Chris to convert to Islam.

I'm almost certain said weens all patted themselves on the back, all "HUR DUR, CHRIS IS TOTES GONNA LISTEN TO US AND CONVERT! WE'RE THE NEXT CLYDE CASH, HUR DUR!"

To literally just get a letter back from Chris saying ".....mmmm, yeah......no." Must be a kick in the nuts for them.
