Fire Emblem Heroes dropped on iOS and Android today. Seems like its okay, but I haven't played much.

A Switch game that sounds interesting is "Bee Simulator".

Also the Switch is hard to find again (at least locally), just like when it was first released.

I've always wondered if Nintendo will try to remake one of their older classic games since video game remakes from the PS1/N64 and PS2/Gamecube era seem to be a thing now

If they do go down the remake route, I'm betting it will be Legend of Zelda and not Mario

 

It wouldn't be out of the question for a Mario remake, considering they did that before with Super Mario All-Stars and Super Mario 64 DS.
(The Super Mario Advance series were just ports featuring Charles Martinet's voice)

I liked the new kirby game

 

I always like seeing the salt in some of the Pokemon fans who complain about the new Pokemon game's eyes when I tell them that Sword and Shield outsold Gold and Silver and is the second highest selling generation of Pokemon games and Legends Arceus has the best launch week in Pokemon history.

Seriously, one of the favorite pastimes of Pokemon fans is complaining about Pokemon makes me wonder if they still even like the games anymore. I am glad Gamefreak only listens to legit criticism from reasonable people since they have made quality of life improvements over the years.

I hope that with the success of Legends Arceus there will be most Legends games since we still don't know what the original dragon of Unova looks like with Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem fused together and Kalos has a lot of history in of itself and how cool would it be to be a part of a Pokemon war? Also, Alola would be interesting since it was implied in Legends Arceus that it was only recently that Alola was discovered by the rest of the Pokemon world.

 

Controller drift is BS.

 

I have a pretty sizable switch collection. Being able to play games formerly exclusive to home consoles on the go and hand-held exclusive games on the TV is quite nice. A lot of my games are niche JRPGS or ports/remakes of older games, and I usually get physical copies if possible. A fun fact is that a large majority of the ports of old Sqauresoft/Enix titles have physical English versions, you just have to buy them online unless you live around the pacific islands.

 

I remember playing Golden Sun (GBA) on a Wii U.

Such a low resolution (240 x 160) that it helps to sit further back from the screen.

 

I've played the whole series, and I think the 2nd game (Lost Age) is the biggest one. Not sure which is best.

 

The Wii U also has the 3rd Game of the Pocky and Rocky series, Pocky & Rocky & Becky, which was for the GBA. Very expensive game, like every game in the series. I would recommend all 12 people who own a Wii U like me to grab it before March.

 

I've said it before: because the '00s feel like a blur to me, the Wii U feels like a recent and short-lived console.

Almost like Virtual Boy, but at least it sold better.

 

Fun fact the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive is the ONLY Sega console to have more world-wide sales than the Wii U. Probably seems like that wouldn't be the case in most people's minds mostly because, if I'm honest, most of the sega systems had many more iconic titles than the Wii U did.

 

I like how the SNES just stayed the SNES until the end of games being made for it, while SEGA thought the Genesis needed all those addons.

 

Probably doesn't help that all of the great Wii U games got ported to different systems. Only exclusives it has left are garbage like Star Fox Zero, Sonic Boom, and Devil's Third.
