My favorite game growing up was probably Battletoads Double Dragon on the Sega Genesis.

Sims 2 on DS was so weird, completely unlike a normal sims game. I must've played through it a dozen times when I was 7-8.

It's a toss-up between Kirby and the Amazing Mirror for GBA and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on PC.

Wii Sports, especially the tennis. I can still sing the theme tune, too.

my favorite game from my childhood was definitely majora's mask

there's just something about its melancholic surrealism that stuck with me for many years, and it still makes me tear up every time i replay it to this day

Different games at different stages of my childhood.
The game I got for Christmas when I was either 3 or 4:

The first RPG I ever encountered, back when I was entering my early teens. I grew up in an anti-D&D household so playing stuff like this was about as far as my teenage rebellion phase went.

In my late teens I might've even ventured to call this my favorite platformer and beat-em-up of all. It got rave reviews in magazines and even on TV at the time, yet somehow it did poorly financially and its only-marginally-less-awesome sequel did drastically worse, preventing us from getting the third game to finish the trilogy.
