This place has been falling behind lately...

Chris has been spotted at Target by a Redditor, thought a pokemon started the Notre Dame fire, thought Team Rocket was hacking his dreams with a Hypno he had to kill, and his house was recognized by Google as "Sonichu Headquarters." Also he recently e-begged again.

Among which...

 

Why is he begging now? Just lacking money to make impulse buys at the end of the month, I assume.

 

I think the recent lack of CWC activity is because Chris is distracted by Pokémon Go.

I heard the creator of Pokemon has autism. Whether or not that's true, one can still see how Pokemon can appeal to autistics.

One thing autistics can be attracted to is collecting. Pokemon has that, inspired by Tajiri's boyhood interest in bug collecting.

I don't want to get into a tugboat debate, but yeah, Chris should have a payee to take care of his finances. The problem would be Chris would have noticeably less money for the useless impulse buy stuff he craves and that would give him prickly wicklies. The payee would insist Chris do something sensible like pay off his debt or save money for the future and spend less on recreational purchases, and that would upset Chris.

I said it before, but Chris has a pretty bleak life, with the only bright spot being his impulse buying. That won't last, after Barb dies he'll probably have to abandon 14BC and move into an efficiency apartment, but with a combo of the tugboat, government services and charities he'll be able to survive. Likely he'll have very little money left for buying fun stuff and the begging will ramp up, but there are enough silly people who will send him money.

 

Midland Funding filed for garnishment today, what does this mean for Chris as he doesn't have a wage to garnish? Will they freeze his accounts?

 

I'm not sure. Chris will probably always have the tugboat, and it doesn't seem his internet notoriety is going away anytime soon, so there will be "fans" who send him money. He's figured out how to monetize his notoriety with overpriced crap on eBay and making some artwork, if he still does that.

The one thing that could be taken from him is credit. If he keeps running up credit cards and then doesn't pay them off, he's going to run out of companies that give him unsecured debt. Then if he wants a credit card, he'll have to send in collateral and he'll lose the collateral if he doesn't pay.

I don't know what the laws are for freezing accounts, but maybe they could freeze his accounts until he comes up with a down payment and agrees to a spending plan.

Chris's poor handling of finances will catch up with him eventually. It also seems that the longer Chris goes without consequences, the worst it's going to be when it's finally unavoidable.

 

Like when Barb finally kicks it and the bank takes the house, leaving Chris to go full Alantutorial. (Or possibly Xavier Renegade Angel.)

Although, since he probably won't have access to a computer and/or webcam, he will probably legitimately disappear for a while. So we likely won't get much footage of the meat of the Homeless Saga. I was thinking he could use one at the library or something – but he'd probably get himself booted and banned out of there, too, if he hasn't already been.

 

Chris doesn't strike me as someone that will go anywhere near a library.

 

So it seems MLW just retired from PVCC.

Oh he did go to a library. But it looks like he just used it as an "Attraction Location" while drawing Sonichu.

And of course, he's trying to make the MLW retirement all about himself in some nigh-incomprehensible babbling that involves the Dimensional Merge.
