    Someone called Joseph Draft is making a documentary about Chris which includes in person interviews as well as interviews of Christorians. The film has a kickstarter page and their asking for $20,000 which understandably got a couple of kiwis upset. The initial reaction was that is was some local person try to pull a scam but then a kiwi working on the project spoke up and kind of made a fool of themselves. After several pages of people pointing out how weak the organization of the project was how Geno didn't need to ask for twenty Gs to make his documentary, null jumps in to have a slap fight with co-creator. In other words, just another day at KF.

    I think null is right about Chris' attention and how fruitless the project is but I'm still interested in those intervenes regardless with one interview in particular (if you watch the video you'll know what I mean). I'm not sure they'll get to 20k in thirty days so its hard to say what will come of the documentary.

    This is pretty tryhard. I feel like if someone is to do a doc on Chris for a mainstream audience it has to relate why we are fascinated by him. This already looks like it’s going to be sappy and portray Chris as a victim.

    Don't want to hear any further white knighting of Megan Schroeder anymore after this. Hope you enjoy your eternal internet infamy and all it cost you was paying back Chris for the money you made him spend for you because you were too unimaginative to get an ACH card number to run for your Vega merchandise from any other nerd at the game store other than the one you friend zoned despite his pathetic protests by email to you at the time otherwise while you suspected trouble but failed to bail on the scheme. This is what is called 'self-inflicted' and you still can't actually just walk away despite the more than a decade in between then and now:

    As for the latest documentary saga, filmmaker doesn't even list any documentaries that inspired them to make others of their own, so it's a pretty naked cash grab. At least throw us a Nanook of the North bone to cover your bona fides. I have no interest in hearing Barb sperg at the lens about how everybody else produced her troon son's failure at life but her and Bob, so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to want to watch here? I hope they took the opportunity to ask Sachumo what is was like erasing Chris' Pokemon Go app off his phone while Chris' back was turned so he could finally be a real ween instead of a want to be one. Summer starts early apparently this year, Christorians, should be a hot one at this rate...

    Yeah, it sounded like a cash grab. It sounded like the documentary makers wanted to make Chris sound like a misunderstood artist because he's trans and has autism, or some such silliness.

    I read some of the thread on KF - it was pretty silly, but it sounds like the guys already made their documentary and claimed they wanted to recoup the cost of making the film. That sounds pretty backwards. The whole thing sounded very strange, so it was either a cash grab or an inept try to run a legitimate crowdfunding campaign.

    Personally, I'm thinking it's a cash grab.
