I just keep thinking of a time when "cartoon for children with adult appeal" meant something like The Secret of NIMH, which actually contains things like swearing, blood, on screen deaths, and even a small child suffering from pneumonia. Now, it's being used for animated toy commercials that teaches things you really should've learn in preschool.
Bronies are the ultimate proof that the human race has become wussified.

I don't think I'd be too surprised if I found out the average intelligence of a brony is "lolcow tier."

Even among the "euphoric" ones who think they're "too smart for religion."

 

Chris's inability to understand the difference between truth and fiction is something that still surprises me

 

It's getting worse. Clown-shirted "Classic Chris" seems sane compared to current "Tomgirl Chris."

Classic Chris was still really delusional. He legitimately believed he had magical powers and still thought that CWCville existed. He said stuff like that multiple times, it's just worse now because Idea Guy supported Chris' delusions. I'm pretty sure he mentioned being able to see into CWCville and talk to Magi-chan and other Sonichu's telepathically before Idea Guy.

 

I agree. There are some moments where there is this almost subtle, metaphorical wink at us.

At the risk of turning this into a meta thread, I think one day Chris will rip off the rubber mask Scooby-Doo style and reveal that he's really been Andy Kaufman the whole time.

Mlps animation is pretty decent . I thought the show was still going strong. Hopefully the change doesn't drive Chris violent. Again.

I think the show is still going strong, but the brony trend is dying off. It seems that the brony trend has chosen to start duing a quite death. Honestly, I didn't realize how quite the brony fandom had become until someone mentioned it in the Club.

 

Bronies aren’t even fun to cringe at anymore. Pretty much a fad on its last leg now. I think the only reason any of us paid attention to Bronycon was Chris going.

 

That's the long and short of it.

Maybe the Brony community will collapse and be absorbed into the nightmare that is the furry fandom. There'd be a creepy chapter of chris's life: being absorbed into the world of degenerate furfags.

 

Not to mention all the drugs flying around like they're candy. I don't think I'm ready for Chris to take acid and Sonichu to look like Ralph Steadman's fourth-grade art project.
