Facebook 08/11/2017 - Insanity (Chris gets possessed and shills for Neptunia)

I know Chris' belief that fictional characters and his own creations are real is well established, but the way the Neptunia thing has gone from zero to "obsession, must post about it all the time, integrate into CWCville and draw comix" is really fucking strange.
If it wasn't for the associated, unmistakable Chris-Chan art I'd suspect his social media accounts had been hacked, tbf.

I wonder has someone gained influence over him and is playing him (why you'd get him to this I have no idea, but weens gonna ween)? But even then he's so incapable of hiding anything that he'd have probably let that slip by now if it was the case.

 

Someone on KF (jokingly?) suggested that Barb passed away and Chris hasn't accepted it yet.

 

Here’s some bite-sized bullet points summing up the post

• It’s made very clear by Chris That. This. Is. Real. This is NOT a fictional or created plot for Sonichu, this actually happened in our reality.
• Chris felt some freaky energy from her Sega Dreamcast. She used her new “third eye power” aka psychic bullshit along with Magi-Chan to find out it had some dormant power, so she left it on all day.
• That power was Uzame, a goddess from Neptunia, who took over Chris body after being released from the Dreamcast. This isn’t a total possession, Chris is still in control, they just share a body.
• Another goddess, Neptune, is in trouble. Chris is too lazy and sends Sylvana to save her, which she does with ease.
• The other three goddesses, thankful for Neptune’s rescue, give Chris all their powers. Sylvana, who actually saved Neptune, gets nothing.
• Uzame’s twin, Korume, is evil because chichè evil twin plot.
• Korume convinces Graduon to take over CWCville. Why Graduon, a character who’s tried multiple times to take over CWCville, needed to be persuaded is not mentioned.
• Chris, with powers from five goddesses and super psychic powers herself, forsaw everything.
• Because of this, CWCville effortlessly wins the battle against Korume and Graduon, no really, Chris talks about how easy the battle was due to her ability to see the future.
• Chris claims the goddesses need our help, but doesn’t explain why. We can help by buying and playing this game and also literally praying for/to the goddesses.
• Night Star and Discord (some dragon thing from MLP) are also in this story, but their parts are so small and unimportant I didn’t add them anywhere else here.

 

Maybe overly optimistic here, but what if Chris is just pretending it's real as part of the narrative?

Then again, he does ask us to pray to an animu girl.

 

I once asked if chris had any hope to turn back, this demostrates that he rejected these opportunities and gone beyond crap

 

I take a bit of a break from Chris-Chan and come back to this. I'm actually kinda terrified for once in my Christorical studies life that Chris may have finally snapped. Has it finally happened? And if so, how far down the rabbit hole are we willing to chase after him? Will the madness consume us as well?

 

JQ "breaking up" with CWC could've had something to do with it.

 

i dont think so. He's bounced back from like what? 4 or 5 others? all of them trolls too and not legitimate relational break ups. I think personally its Chris' lack of social interaction and locking himself away in his room thats finally gotten him. Think of the people who come back crazy from solitary confinement for example. He's compensating for the lack of social interaction by succumbing to his mental delusions of Sonichu, MLP and Gameindustri being real and actual beings.

 

A few years ago a mad bloke stopped me in the street and gave me a typed up letter.
I think - as a layman who knows very little about mental illness - he was schizophrenic, and it was a rambling and bizarre document.
This word salad that Chris has just put on Facebook is eerily similar.

I don't think Chris is schizophrenic, but he's definitely a mad bloke.

 

That was my thought as well, it sounds like schizophrenia. I've heard in the past that Chris was having his mental health monitored by a therapist, but I'm not sure if he is still going to one. I don't know if Chris is just being weird and autistic like he always is or if this is a mental health issue he needs to get checked out.

 

He won't listen to anyone who doesn't ass-pat him

 

Wasn't he seeing his church counselor a while back before his father passed? Rocky or something? I mean hell, at least he was seeing SOMEONE, now he's spiraling out of control because he refuses to accept any reality that doesn't conform to his fantasy, which is to say none at all.

 

Sadly, yes, the hurtful truth level and not feeling prickly wicklies in the short term is more important than growing as a person and improving his life. But that's part of why he's a lolcow.

 

One can only hope this is a genius marketing act and not Chris going completely crazy.

 

Chris really should've stuck with Marketing at PVCC. Look at where CADD has brought him.

 

Anime was a mistake

 

Chris probably should have just not gone to college and instead have gone to autism support groups, like the one that meets at the bookstore I go to. At least then he would have met other people like him, made some friends, maybe have even gotten a sweetheart, and learn more about his condition. Of course Chris doesn't like other autistic people, doesn't want an autistic sweetheart and if he were capable of finding insights into his autism he wouldn't be the lolcow he is.

 

He thinks that he's ultra mega famous because the voice of a cartoon horse told him that if you have a large number of critics then you've made it in entertainment.

Another factor is that Chris is convinced that the YouTube videos are turning him into a woman and granting him psychic powers. He's convinced that he's seen/felt proof of both.

Finally, there was Bronycon. He stumbled into a place where, finally, all the NPCs behaved the way Chris thinks they should Chris. This may have convinced him that it's not his fault because Charlottesville's NPCs are bugged for some reason.

 

I agree with you on that and I will say that from the first time I actively started looking at the cwcki, I thought he was just some regular loon. But as I dug deeper I found many flaws that I shared with him (getting upset over petty things is one example). Reading about him has served as a warning of a path I could have taken and thankfully didn't. As the white knight page said, Chris has helped other other people despite him being an example of how bad autism can become if you ignore it. Even today, I still think of how I would be if I never bothered to read the cwcki or even thought to myself "how does my condition affect me?"
