To be fair, the weens always had the choice to leave her alone. I'm not saying Chris didn't lead them to her, because he did, and that does still put him at fault ultimately, but the onus isn't necessarily all on him...

 

You're right but Chris once again not knowing how to behave online and crossing lines is ultimately the cause. He had no right or reason to try and befriend some internet artist who is only interacting with him for business. It was completely unsolicited and it got creepy, just like always. He should've been a patron of hers anonymously if he liked her art but of course he doesn't have the sense for that...and he's thinking with his duck.

 

Precisely. I'd put the blame on the weens maybe just a bit more, but I'm not blind to Chris' role in this. After all, I've been following it for a while. Overall blame ratio: Weens- 48%, Chris 52%. The numbers might be interchangeable, but I think that's accurate as it is right now.

 

Same shit as Wallflower. He blamed her for having a facebook for edetectives to find and not himself for putting her alias in a video.

Who's the Night Star person? I've been through her profile, and it says the person joined recently, is from Virginia, and is following a lot of the same profiles Chris is. The writing style is way off, otherwise I'd say Chris decided to try the sock puppet stuff.

If that was anyone other than Chris just being that clueless, I'd say that sounds like he's planning on finding Doopie IRL, some stalker shit. Thankfully that requires him to leave the hoard for something other than fast food so I don't forsee him putting that effort into.
