I really feel bad for Doopie, she seems like a very kind and mature woman.

 

To be fair to the weens, not that they deserve it, but what set things off yesterday was Chris listing Doopie as a girlfriend and her setting him straight. He's just playing victim now and blaming his trolls, thats what he always does. Doopie was obviously over being called darling and Chris treating her like she's his sweetheart (like Megan).

 

I watch a lot of the Planet Dolan crew stuff and she seems really nice from the stories she shares in the storytime videos.

I felt bad for Megan but I feel even worse for Doopie.

 

Not that I'm saying Chris had nothing to do with it, but for the record, that all could have been ignored too, seeing how Chris always does stuff like that.

 

I will admit, Chris actually put in a smidgen of effort when he backpedaled after Doopie shut him down, trying to pull the "Oh, er, I mean girlfriend in that.....you're just so nice and I'm glad you're part of my life as a person..mmm, yeah, that's the ticket..."

And you are right in that it's not entirely the weens fault, Chris (as usual) takes a big load of the blame, but the weens weren't angels here either...

 

It's kind of sad really, both in CWC and ween standards.

 

I agree with all of you. This situation just turned from just Chris commissioning some stuff from Doopie (and being his usual creepy self) to a gigantic clusterfuck fueled by weens and Chris's usual idiotic behavior. I hope this all calms down eventually.

 

If I had to be completely honest this is one of the lowest moment of Ween bullshit I've seen.

The patron shit with weens was absolutely despicable and to me is starting to go near BlueSpike levels of fucking not okay. It's not Doopie's fault that Chris is harassing her yet they're pulling this shit and fucking with her business? This is far from okay or even tolerable behavior.

Whoever did the Doopie write up on the cwcki did a helluva job, I was reading it and cracking up.

The weens here were cringe worthy, yeah, but I don't think they even come close to BlueSpike....

 

As much as I'd hate to admit it, I actually somewhat support what Chris is trying to do in his hashtag campaigns, I mean for one thing, his heart does seem to be in the right place to actually go out and protect a group of people from weens.

 

His heart may be in the right place, but his duck is steering the course.

 

That's why I said "somewhat". For the record, Chris might also be doing this just so that he can win the heart of Doopie again, and so that she can break up with her boyfriend, so I'm only slightly impressed that Chris did something useful for once.

 

Yeah. With BlueSpike, the worst that Chris did was the JULAYYY sextape while BlueSpike forced him to shove pieces of Crayola FUCKIN' Model Magic up his ass, thus potentionally causing physical injury to Chris. With Doopie, both Chris and the weens are equally responsible for all of this bullshit.

Know what? Yeah, I kinda agree. He is trying to defend people from a group of weens. But, Chris being Chris, he effectively shot that campaign in the foot by thinking with his dick instead of his brain. If it was anybody other than a female, he wouldn't give two damns about it.

Again, I hope this eventually calms down.

 

This is the key sentence right here. You *Want* to applaud Chris for trying to stop weens from harassing others.....but when you look at it for more then 10 seconds, you realize that Chris' intentions are much more in the camp of "If I do the noble thing and try to protect Doopie, she'll be won over and be in love with me!"

Indeed, if this was some random guy, Chris would probably just leave him to the wolves.

If I was perfectly honest about this incident, I have rather mixed feelings toward it, while I can slowly clap for Chris for being helpful, I can't help but think about how much his Love Quest seems to be his main motivation for this entire thing.

 

Chris can never man up and take accountability. Not that I would expect him to start now but his instincts tell him to make some childish cartoon campaign with all these characters on Twitter. It's just funny he can't figure out it did nothing but make the situation worse. Cancelling his patreon to Doopie and just ignoring the trolls would've been the end of it. If he wants to subscribe to someone's patreon or something similar he just needs to keep it anonymous. He won't of course, he still thinks this is a means to getting laid.

 

For Chris, the solution to change anyone's mind is either:

A. Write a speech
B. Threaten the person
C. A strange combination of A and B
D. Segregation/Humiliation
E. Activism and Protest
F. Shouting
G. Fuck knows what else!
