FB 6/20 - Rant on ages of the Sonichus

Let's talk about a topic that may likely be confusing to, well, Everyone. The Ages of my Sonichus and Rosechus. Simply Put: it is Inconsistent Cartoon Logic. Around the time I specified the Main Eight's ages in Book 8, I was under a LOT of unwarranted Questions about their Bloody Age in relations to the content/miscontent of what I drew and wrote Beforehand. UGH! I was Still Testing the Waters of the story typings, parodies, what works/doesn't work.

It is Very Common amongst the Beginning Book Authors. Even in Televised Cartoons and Video Games, I dare put unto you all: Ash Ketchum is STILL Ten Years Old? Sonic the Hedgehog is Still 16 Years Old? And Stewie Griffin is Still ONE Year Old, while during the "Family Guy" Series, Megan has gone from 16 to 18 Years Old. Twighlight Sparkle and the Mane Six are teens to adults, while Celestia and Luna are like a THOUSAND Years Old. Even XJ9 - Jenny, while built a few years prior, her Mindset Is TEENAGER.

**Sigh and Groan**

I feel the best way to answer this ANNOYING QUESTION to EVERYONE is to NOT Think or Overthink About It. We, the Artists, Creators and Writers, specify an age to a character, at least I feel, when it can be deemed warranted. We do not have to Consistently Celebrate Birthdays, or let our characters Age canonically or not, in our works. The Obvious, Simple, NOT to Overthink, Straight-Up Answer, from ALL OF US Creators, is...

JUST TAKE THE CHARACTER(s) AGE(s) AS WE HAVE GIVEN THEM, RESPECTIVELY.

And, in my case: The Main Eight are more than Twenty Years Old, may as well be Over 21 NOW; Cera, Christine and Roberta are TEENAGERS (CLOSE to equal 17 years old), and Sandy and Zapina Rosechus are in the Fourth Grade, despite Sandy being less than a year old, physically, but mentally equivalent to the typical Fourth Grader Age.

Once Again, Take each character's age at Provided Value, unless we later say different. Shut The F*** Up! UGH!!!

 

So when did Sonichu and Rosechu bang to make these kids were they like 15
Are there Romeo and Juliet laws in cwcville?

 

Chris, once again, fails to see nobody cares about Sonichu that much and people are trolling for a reaction.

 

Are we just going to ignore that Chris drew Sonichu's arms to be waaaaaaay to fucking long in this pic?

The perspective makes him look like Plastic Man, FFS.

Also, this whole article just reads like an upset 10 year old on fanfiction.com. "I"m a great writer, don't criticize me! How dare you hold me up to any standard! Don't make me get my mom! Mom, the guys on the internet are asking me to specify things in my masterpiece!"

 

Is it just me or does Rosechu have the look of a molestation victim in that pic?

 

We get it Chris- you want all of your furry abominations to be the legal age of consent so you don't feel terrible when your publish your freakshow comic pages, and the high school ones are just you can furiously masturbate while thinking about the gal pals that left you all alone to take care of Barb, cutting into your toy time.

Well, chris actually formatted his whining ramble in a way you can actually read. So there's that.

 

I guess this rant is better than drawing anatomy diagrams of his ungodly creations.

He's a whiny bitch, but it's at least formatted in a semi-coherent way.

 

I just read Waterman's response and I literally felt something pop behind my eyeballs. I think I need to lie down.

Still amazed neither of them just said "Hey, they're 'Chus, they mature quicker than human beings do." That's like literally all they have to do...

I had some witty comment about this but got distracted by Chris not knowing the difference between reality and TV. He justifies Luna and Celestia being thousands of years old because they are tv characters and not because they were written as ageless horse gods. He just can't accept that Tv characters don't age because they aren't real and time doesn't work logically in TV land because it takes liberties for entertainment value.

 

Is Chris getting more self-aware?

 

Chris actually read Waterman's textwall.

 

Chris' adamant behavior about not skipping ahead or even realizing that he could have done something as simple as say that his electric hedgehog pokemon age faster than humans makes me want to bang my head against a wall because of how stupid this is.
