Is Chris actually non-binary?

Am I the only one who thinks that if Chris didn't think in absolutes like he does, he would identify as non-binary instead of a trans woman?

 

No, How could Chris appeal to the lesbians if he wasn't a "woman". Besides, even being himself, he's not that autistic

 

I've seen several non-binary people identify as lesbians.

I wouldn't consider even transgender in the traditional sense. Chris has always held women on a pedestal, and the moment Chris gets something into his head its hard to make him stop. So once Chris saw that other men could become women, there was no turning back. I think of Chris as more of a Cross dresser who is hiding up his insecurities with his masculinity trough transgender antics than a true trans person. One of my friends is non-binary and whats going in with Chris is totally different. A transgender person believes they are the wrong gender, typically from an early age. A non-binary person doesn't want to deal with gender rolls (dealing with non-gender rolls seems like its harder, but that's just me.) Chris is afraid of being a real man. He hates the responsibility that goes with the traditional male gender role but also hates being shamed for not stepping up. Chris thinks that he can avoid this responsibility by being a woman, but is learning that women have to be responsible to, perhaps now more so than ever.

TLDR, Chis isn't non-binary and probably isn't a tranny either.

Well, he knows about Facebook's 58 genders, so.

 

Just because he knows the "joke" doesn't mean he knows what they are. Hell, a decent chunk of them are variations of cis.

Yeah, sure, he's non-binary. I have no idea what that means and it's one of those things that hasn't been explained to me properly. But, I will say that with the 58 genders thing, and with the fact that he doesn't fit into the traditional heterosexual male role particularly well, he probably would associate himself with another one of the 58 genders.

That doesn't mean that he's gay or a woman trapped in a man's body, just that I'm sure that he would better associate himself with one of the 58 genders rather than identify as a man.

You know, someday in the future we won't be having discussions like this. I look forward to that day.
