Chris hasn't read very many books with big-boy words and a lot of his linguistic oddities come from the illustrated KJV that I'm sure still lingers in the depths of the hoarde.
I would bet he was trying to use the word "yea" to hail Cole and validate the news he is tasked to deliver; i.e.

 

Adam West is dead, yay? Yay?

Seriously though, RIP Adam West. Like most people, I love the campiness of the early Batman show, and I think that he ended up becoming the best character currently on Family Guy. One of my favourite West moments has to be that episode of The Simpsons where he made a brief guest appearance and creeped Homer out by doing the batusi.

It's not even good news, I doubt Chris even cared to watch that show, unless Bob was and he simply stayed put.

Certainly. A bit more on the obscure end, he voiced a minor animal in this unseen Disney short that was destined to be a classic had it won the Oscar in '97!

 

Are you guys forgetting him on Pete and Pete? For shame, I'm honestly saddened by West's passing, he always came off and apparently it was true, he was just incredibly smart and loved being quirky and made it his thing. Great voice talk crazy but in an educated way great stickt.

Also, Chris is way off on years West's batman was on unless he means re runs and I don't doubt the household watched a lot of TV but to me it stinks of virtue signaling and I don't mean to be a loggy.

 

He probably is referring to re-runs, but it could also be virtue signaling. Personally, I remember watching the re-runs on Teletoon. One of the first ones I ever watched involved an evil plan with Joker at a golf course. It immediately resonated with me, particularly the Bat-Cart, which just so happened to be parked at the golf course. It made me wonder if Batman just keeps the cart parked there all year long just in case he needs it, or if he uses it to play golf on the weekends.

 

As a big MST3K fan, Zombie Nightmare is one of the first things that comes to mind when I think of Adam West. He gives a dramatic, and villainous, performance and is pretty captivating.

To me, West's Batman was a fixture of UHF stations throughout the 70's and 80's. A Fox station in my town used to run that just after cartoons at 5:30 or 6PM weekdays.

 

I just realized that Cole is about the same age as my dad. That's actually kind of a weird thought.

 

Of course Chris uses West's death as a way of trying to get Cole-sempai's attention. His efforts to get more lego money truly never end.

 

Senior Citizen, 52.... never change Chris.

What I find funny is how Chris is using this as an underhanded insult, but we know how much he keeps begging. You catch more flies with honey, Chris.
