What makes you think he will realize anything?

I dunno. Ashuraglitch paid Chris $1,500 for the Sonic Totem and happily posted photos of it on /v/. Someone spent $76 buying up a bunch of Chris's stamps, apparently not reading Chris's fine print and thinking that would be a good way to win the raffle. And there's the likes of DStecks and Waterman, who have paid Chris to draw Sonichu in the past.

Also, back when Chris was selling on Etsy, people bought $50 amiibos and commissions from him and posted photos of their stuff to KF.

Because DStecks and Waterman are highly respected members and weren't ridiculed off the sites?
I get throwing Chris some money once, but each month, thats a lil crazy.

That's a good point, but early access to Sonichu is a little different than getting a personalized commission or hand-mangled Amiibo. Those are mementos and have a personal touch. This is just getting to see public autism a little early.

Oh, how I miss the days when Chris took commissions. It was wonderful seeing how people's requests looked once filtered through his autism.

    That didn't stop Ashuraglitch.

Two people are paying him ten bucks per month on Patreon for doing literally nothing.

If he was actually offering access to pages, even if it's only early access, I think people like them would pay for it. Of course, that assumes he doesn't do something stupid like raise the price to a thousand bucks.

Some people seem to love throwing money at Chris, though. Ever since he set up Patreon, he's gotten a few hundred bucks from it. He might still be getting handouts from begging. They'd probably pay him if he was making content.

Wait.....so Chris is literally doing a Patreon level where it's "....Mmm, yeah. Thanks, I guess...."?

    Doesn't honestly shock me.

Most Patreons have a "thanks for your support" level, but it's usually for people who want to chip in like a couple bucks per month. Not $10.

That's what I was thinking. I can understand a 1-2 dollar level where you get a "thanks for your support", but you'd think by the 10 dollar level, Chris could do something a little more....elaborate?

    For comparison:
    https://www.patreon.com/assignedmale
The "hmm yeah thanks." here is $1, Sophie starts offering some patron-only access at a modest $3/month.

    https://www.patreon.com/redlettermedia
At $2/month you get Patron-only weekly updates, and behind the scenes content at $5/month

    https://www.patreon.com/thegreatwar
Indy has the best Patreon here, along with content starting at $3/month, a chance to be part of the show at $5/month, Indy also carefully explains what the Patreon money goes to, and actually delivers what he promised when goals are hit.

And then there's Chris, who'll offer plastic crap he didn't even make for $50/month minimum and it might get shipped to you within a year.

Didn't people already give money for these pages on Etsy?
(and btw if your Etsy account is deleted that doesn't mean you don't have to make stuff you were already paid for.)

At this point chris is doing anything to squeeze profit of of this sad train wreck of primary colors.
