    What if Chris was sent back in time to the early 80s during the "microcomputer" craze (Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64, MSX, TRS-80, ZX Spectrum, etc) when the end user was pretty much expected to write programs themselves?

    He would buy an expensive piece of electronic equipment, which he loves to do, not be able to figure it out, stress sigh, soil himself and resume doing nothing.

    He'd also make home movies using a camcorder that uses a VHS tape and brag how he has so much expensive electronic equipment.

    I don't know how true or interesting this is, but Waterman said that he tried to get Chris to play Undertale. Also, if Chris was a teen or an adult in the eighties, he might have 'coded' one of those magazine write-in games, then believed he was an incredible coder and tried to sell the game he 'made' (somehow).
